We had a fantastic experience with Fetch & Retrieve looking after our lively Pomsky on multiple occasions (Daycare and overnight boarding)! They are a super friendly bunch, very professional, provide fantastic service, reasonable pricing and you can tell they genuinely love dogs - what more can you want from the service looking after your precious furry baby!? They create a WhatsApp group for you and your dog handlers so you are kept updated throughout of the day (and evening) with videos on how your dog is and also provide tracking links and times in real time on when your dog is getting picked up and dropped off. Honestly, we couldn't be happier after trying these guys for the first time and now use them whenever we need our dog to be looked after!! 5 stars+++!!! :)

Andrea was amazing and helped us with our 4 month old Westie puppy Max, who was extremely naughty, hyperactive and disobedient. After previously owning a Westie and him passing away 4 years ago, we finally decided to get another dog and thought another westie would be the perfect choice as we knew the breed so well, especially with two young children it was so important that we knew what to except!!! Unfortunately Max was completely different to what our old Westie was like and we were shocked with the difference in behaviour when we got Max. Max barked uncontrollably and would constantly bite our feet and want our attention. That’s when we got in touch with good dog. After Andrea came to see Max, only after her second visit and following all her advice, Max was like a completely different dog and I can not believe the change in him. I’ve had dogs all my life and thought I would never need a trainer to help me but Max was not what I expected and thanks to Andrea he now follows our instructions and is the loveliest affectionate dog and although we have trained him hard it’s not taken away his lovely character and personality. Seeing the dogs which come into rescue inspired me to start up my own company in order to keep dogs in the home.
A lot of behaviours have been learned young and are completely resolvable or manageable.
I’m a positive reinforcement trainer with a difference! I look into each dogs behaviour and work out an individual plan for them. As like people we all do not learn the same way. In all my sessions there is an element of play / relaxation as this helps the dogs and us learn.
I have developed a “slow it down” technique when working with dogs with a bite history or dog to dog issues.
And because I work in rescue I work with dogs on a daily basis with tricky challenging behaviours teaching them new techniques and making them safe for rehoming.
