Peter runs training courses in Edinburgh and Musselburgh. 2 types of courses Beginner and Intermediate plus mini-agility. (Mini-Agility only at his Musselburgh club) Beginner course is a structured 6 week foundation course. The course is a mixture of group and individual practical work. Teaching the owners first who then communicate the practical to the dog. All practical work is backed up by theory as to why Peter trains the way he does and how we communicate to our dogs.

We had our first lesson with Peter today (12 Dec) with my 2 18 month old Briard. With in 10 mins he knew what my problems were and what I have to work on. By the end of the lesson I could walk out of my front door with out being pulled down the garden path. Peter is an absolute gent and will tell it as it is. It seems to me if you want help and are prepared to put the work in and listen to what he is telling you (he reads dogs and people very well) he will do all in his power to get you and your dogs working in harmony. Looking forward to our next lesson.

I focus on the dog's emotions and help build a dog-human relationship based on mutual respect and trust. I teach interspecies understanding: I will show you what to pay attention to to understand your dog's feelings. You will learn how to use your body language to communicate what you mean to your four-paw friend, make him trust you more and improve your cooperation. If you understand and trust each other, almost any problem can be solved :)

Conrad gave excellent training advice while we walked my two daycare dogs, who haven’t been socialised and behave quite defensively when they encounter other dogs. He has a warm and approachable manner and they loved him. I have used his techniques and seen a noticeable difference in a short time. I’d definitely recommend him!

I have worked with cats and dogs for over 15 years and have an MSc in Animal Welfare and Behaviour from the University of Edinburgh. I specialise in positive reward based training for cats and dogs who are showing problem behaviours. My sessions are one to one in the owner's home to see you cat or dog in their own environment. This helps me to fully understand their behaviour.

I cannot thank Debs enough for all the help and advise she gave In getting my now 1 year old miniature schnauzer Pepper to where she is a happy funny cheeky obedient wee dog. Debs reward based techniques were easy and fun to apply and with consistency my pup picked up on them quite readily. I never wanted a performing dog just a happy well adjusted one and that’s what I have ???? I highly recommend Debs

Providing a fun, carefree and sociable environment for your fur baby, with the confidence that they will be treated as one of my own. Do weekly walks, Monday-Friday, all day. I do 3 group walks a day, 10-11, 1-2 and 3-5, however, I am willing to squeeze in some extras if your dog doesn't like to be walked within a group. With a lifetime of animal experience and a passion for animals and their comfort.
Having grown up in the countryside, I’ve got a lot of experience with working dogs. As such, I’m happy to offer gun dog training, as well as standard obedience training. I have also offered agility training to competition breeders in Edinburgh to consistently broaden my skillset.
Every breed comes with their own challenges and I’m willing to take them all on. As long as your dog’s breed is not prescribed on the Dangerous Dogs Act 1991, I’m more than happy to work with them. Anti-social and rescue dogs often require special care and attention. These dogs can display signs of aggression including barking, growling or even biting. I’m happy to work with dogs with these traits, as long as you give some forewarning.
Most often, my customers are looking for puppy training services. Puppies can be a handful, and owners usually need a hand with toilet training or stopping their new dogs from jumping up, begging and whining. I also offer puppy classes, where I teach groups the basic commands: sit, stay, lie down, roll over, heel. As part of this, I encourage owners to become comfortable walking their puppies on a lead, without them pulling.
