Sunnie at archway dogs is a god send! We stumbled across Archway dogs by mistake and we couldn't be happier! The Progress that Teddy has made is amazing! Sunnie is calm and controlled and just knows how to handle every type of scenario. With the additional option of sunday meets at a park. It really makes the difference to have a group of people all learning and training together! I'm so glad that we made a decision to be responsible owners.

We came to Matt because our young dog was becoming reactive around other dogs and children. Matt was immediately reassuring and we learned so much from him even just in our consultation. Matt is really friendly fun clear and knowledgable. We feel like we have tools to use with our dog which which have already made a big difference after only two sessions. Our dog Chewie also really liked Matt - we could see he was comfortable with Matt from the moment he met him. Thanks so much Matt! We are really grateful!

Unbelievable, I never thought I’d ever be able to let my dog off the lead and be at ease when out on walks with him because he always pulled and would never come back if another dog was around. I now feel completely comfortable letting off the lead and he know longer pulls. Walks are more enjoyable for both of us and its all down to Best Life Dog Training, they taught Boycie the commands needed to make him a more rounded relaxed dog and showed me how to continue using these in everyday life. They also explained how I needed to relax while out on walks and encouraged me to trust Boycie as being anxious would do neither of us any good. I can honestly say since having Boycie back I’ve enjoyed every walk we have been on and couldn’t recommend Best Life Dog Training enough. They deserve more than 5 stars.

I love seeing the bond between dog and owner grow, gaining more understanding of canine behavior can really make you see just how clever your dog is. Seeing improvements in their behavior is so rewarding, and while I am there to help, it's all the wonderful work of both owner and dog and that's so lovely to see what people can achieve. We see how special these animals really are.
I worked in rescue for 4 years and while it's very rewarding work, it can also be very emotionally taxing. I decided I wanted to be one step before dogs were handed into rescue, to try and prevent that being the only option. I love all the dogs and clients I meet, every dog, owner and circumstance is individual and that's what keeps my work so interesting and challenging.
I have a passion for working with not only dogs but the humans they come with! I keep up to date with all the latest research and I am constantly attending seminars, workshops and courses to extend my knowledge and keep it fresh.
Working in rescue for 4 years was a great experience to work with hundreds of dogs on a daily basis. Working with the most extreme of behaviors and multiple breeds., and really having the think outside the box.
I also am an accredited yoga teacher which helps me to coach people on handling and remaining calm.
I do both remote and in person sessions. I have found remote has worked really well over lockdown and you can get just as much out of the sessions. There are some occasions however where it is better for me to see the behavior in person unless you are able to safely provide videos.
I keep up to date with the latest guidelines and keep in touch with my insurance and the local council. Sometimes restrictions mean I need to work online only, or in outside spaces. I try to handle the dog less where possible and I am open to make any changes to make my customers feel more comfortable. I also have a certificate in COVID- 19 safety.
