After having our dog for 10 days we called on Lorna for help and advice. He was a young dog who had come from a disruptive household and had picked up a lot of bad habits. He did a lot of resource guarding and even wouldn’t let us on our own sofa!
Lorna went above and beyond to offer us advice. We were able to contact her often for advice when we got stuck and nothing was too much trouble. We now have our sofa back and our dog is nicely settled into routine and is happy that he doesn’t feel the need to guard things now.
Thank you Lorna.

We have brought our puppies for many years to Jenny's classes they are the best for introducing our new puppies to training in a gentle, treat filled environment. Instructions are always clear and the atmosphere is happy and relaxed for our new puppy to have a enjoyable time learning the basic skills for life. I would recommend Jenny's classes as first rate.

At Beta Dogs, we take a behavioral approach to training whereby we assess your dog and you in your home during our first consultation, then develop a customized program based on the observations made during that first visit. Typically, our programs run for 8 weeks with regular visits, generally speaking every two weeks, for a total of 5 sessions. In each subsequent session, we try to work on the practical elements of the program, usually focusing on the areas where you need the most help.

Hi everyone, I’m Kieron, I’ve been a dog behaviourist/trainer for ten years; I have a diploma in dog psychology under the Cesar Millan way. Having worked with all types of breeds and problems I have vast experience and a deep understanding of dogs and how they work. My passion is for problem-solving the issues dogs and their owners have, this is what drives me to come up with a plan of action to bring the dog back to a balanced state of mind.

I recently had my cocker spaniel Bella trained with kieron and he was absolutely amazing. She would not walk properly on a lead and she would get way to excited when she sees other dogs and she would be so out of control wanting to get to them. I did the 4 lessons package and that was all I needed. Not only did I get help with training bella he gave me a plan of action to follow for the next few months(forever really) and Its been working brilliantly. I am so pleased I went with Mind Body Dog Training because Kieron also gave me a fantastic understanding of dog psychology and understanding how bellas mind works. We did the most positive intense training and actually seeing bella start to behave properly is great. I now understand why she behaved the way she did. You can clearly tell kieron is passionate and gifted at what he does. Thankyou kieron. Recommend 100 percent!!

What drives me is helping owners and their dogs to live happily together. This begins with getting it right from day one with a puppy and continues through great training and building great communication between you and your dog.
The emotional life of dogs fascinates me. Most of the problems in dogs I am asked to work with stem from emotional, rather than 'training' issues, which is why imposing 'training' solutions on many of these dogs is not enough. I spend time getting to know owners and their dogs to work out what is right for them, and what they feel comfortable with.
Training becomes really effective when the dog, and the owner, feels calm, confident and motivated.
I'm also passionate about positive training - there are still trainers out there talking about 'dominance' and 'pack leadership' and 'putting your dog in its place'. What I love about my job is working with owners who have perhaps used those more old-fashioned methods in the past and seeing their enjoyment when they realise they can train with kindness (which is usually what they would rather do anyway) - and it works!
A big, noisy, over-crowded and chaotic puppy class! I walked out after one lesson thinking, 'I could do this better - a lot better'. I originally learned about training just for my puppy but got bitten by the bug, and fascinated by behavioural science methods.
Because my methods are based on scientific research, and my attitude is based on compassion - for you and your dog. I am fully qualified with the IMDT, which demands a rigorous two-day practical examination and regular reassessment and proof of continuous professional development. And our classes are fun!
