My dog is a rescue from Dubai she wasn’t really trained in much except absolute basics. Anthony was so good, I only had four sessions and the change in my dog is amazing. He’s also taught me how to reinforce good behaviour and I can now carry on the training by myself.
He was consistent and friendly and very easy to chat to.
I definitely recommend Juniper Dogs, and Anthony.

I hold various classes, Puppy, Junior, Maintenance, Puppy socialisation and One to ones which can be for basic obedience or for behaviour issues. All my training is done in a kind and gentle approach. Where I encourage correct behaviour, in a fun positive way.
Accredited dog trainer with a real passion for helping owners understand their pooches better and equipping both dog and owner with the skills they need for the best possible lives together. Whether you’re starting from scratch with a puppy, welcoming a rescue into their forever home or just wanting to teach an older dog new tricks, I’m here to help. I practice positive, reward based, force free training which is backed by science and am a proud member of the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT).
Helping owners understand their dogs better is hugely rewarding. There's a wealth of information out there about the best way to train your dog, which can often be contradictory and a little bit daunting. For me, the moment where the training 'clicks' for the first time and owners see exactly what is possible for their dog, is a pawfect kind of magic.
From a young age, I've always been fascinated by dog training. I grew up watching Victoria Stilwell's It's Me or the Dog and marvelled at the way dogs learned. As I navigated through 'normal' day jobs, it was always something that was in the back of my mind and post-COVID, I decided to finally take the plunge into the world of professional dog training.
What many people don't realise is that dog training is an unregulated industry. This means that anybody, regardless of experience, qualifications or knowledge can brand themselves as a dog trainer and offer services to clients.
I'm trained and accredited through the Institute of Modern Dog Trainers (IMDT), which teaches up-to-date, science-backed, positive reward-based training. To achieve this accreditation, IMDT members must pass an in-depth practical and theoretical assessment process (repeated every two years) and submit annual evidence of their continued professional development. As such, you can be assured that the service I provide is of the highest quality.
I am more than happy to offer virtual training. My role as a trainer isn't necessarily to train dogs - it's to empower owners with the skills and knowledge they need to train their own dogs. As the practical training itself is conducted by the owner, I am ideally placed to teach online.
