It was around Xmas 2018 when I spoke to Georgina. I was down in the dumps, looking back at the past year, thinking how I wasted another year and how yet again I’m still this weak, fragile person who lacks so much self- belief it’s crippling.
After talking to Georgina and listening to her story I became inspired.
Georgina broke down the issues and simplified the problems in digestible chunks.
Road to recovery wasn’t easy but referring back to Georgoina’s dialogues, the words lifted my spirits.
After a few months, I began to change my thought patterns, began to believe in myself, self-care, the negative patterns were reduced from a loud voice to a whisper.
I actually made myself think new thoughts that served me in becoming the most confident, high self-esteem version of myself.
I reminded myself of things I have accomplished in the past, people that love and support me, small things I’m proud of, things that I’m grateful for.
I began working out, keeping my body and mind in shape and eating less meat and more veg and fruit. The amount energy you get from eating less junk food is amazing! No more destroyers of my body.
The positiveness flowing through my veins I began to write again, spending hours and hours of doing something that I enjoy. I have recently submitted my book to an editor.
Thank you Georgina O'Hanlon

Jack has supported me when I didn't expect him to be there in one of the hardest moments of recent years, facing up to an abusive family member. I know that not only is Jack willing to go the extra mile, literally travel to support me, but he'll also be direct and honest with me when I need it, in order to face the problems I'm avoiding. I know he puts in the work to get mentored and constantly work on his own character too which is extremely rare. God bless you Jack thank you.

I was surprised as to how much I have learned about myself on this journey, I am much stronger and more capable than I thought I was. I learnt that I was letting past actions prevent me from moving forward and that I should ‘forgive’ myself. I have been surprised to see how differently people view me than I view myself. I am much harder on myself. I am learning that progress is better than perfection.
It was a journey of discovery and learning. I can’t believe I’ve reached my 50’s and only just learning about myself.
As a result of this process I feel happier, more confident to be myself and that I am a better person than I thought I was. I realise that small wins are as important as the overall goal.
My life has changed for the better as a result of the coaching. I am learning not to overthink everything and live in the moment. I am forgiving myself my past mistakes, letting fewer ‘what ifs’ spoil my enjoyment of life. And living in the present.

“Counselling is different this time, it's really weird to explain, I don’t find you judgemental, there's nothing I can't tell you, this counselling is my time, and I look forward to our sessions. When you give a little insight in to your life, I have found it helpful to know you are a normal human being and not a robot.”

I qualified as a Counsellor in 2008. I work with adults and children for their emotions well being. I use an elective range of theories all of which is chosen for the client best possible outcome.
Many young men yearn for responsibility and duty, but lack the guidance and support. I help young men to find and take on that responsibility in service to their families and the world. I have mentored and coached people for the last 13 years to find their voice. This work is hard so please only contact me if you’re willing to do the hard yards - I mean it! I am not a therapist, but I can and will help you heal from traumatic situations. I charge £75 per 1 hour session, and usually begin with an initial trial phase of 4 sessions paid up front if you’re serious. If you *genuinely* cannot afford this I will always try to find other options to support you. My personal faith as a Christian is crucial to me because nothing in my life has changed me as much as Christ. I’ve been able to face my own abuser in my past and overcome addictions because of my growing faith in Christ. While I do not enforce my faith on anyone, if you would like me to bring my faith, or even prayer into our sessions, please do ask.
After many painful, difficult challenges, seeing someone make a personal breakthrough, overcoming the situations, the people, the opportunities that they fear the most. Whether that is going on a date for the first time in 50 years, being able to mentor someone in their own right, or standing up to a bully in their own family through trembling fear.
After being mentored for several years, the love, care and respect I was shown blew me away and continues to humble me of how much we need genuine care and support. I especially feel the need to work with young men who desperately need guidance and want to become strong role models themselves.
If you don't want a quick fix, if you are serious about investing significant amounts of time and effort along with the necessary money, and if you are someone who genuinely wants to extend yourself to serve others. I am not going to work with anyone who just wants to feel good about themselves or get rich quick.
I work with most mentees via Zoom via and on the phone, including internationally.
The majority of my work is online and phone-based so I have not needed to make many significant changes.
