Offering 1-1 Counselling and Voice Therapy About me I strongly believe that talking therapies should be accessible to all and I aim to reflect this in my social pricing structure. Being heard and valued shouldn't be a luxury. Many of us face times in our lives where things just seem too much. Emotional, spiritual and personal difficulties often mount up and we can be left feeling stuck and overwhelmed.

⭐️ MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE: see improvement or your money back ⭐️ — “By far the BEST THERAPY I’ve had!” — “This is LIFE-CHANGING! I can honestly say I’ve not had anxiety since.” — “I’ve never found a therapist who can unpack so much in just ONE SESSION!” What is Unshaming? Instead of treating difficult emotions or “destructive” impulses as problems to fix, Unshaming views them as deep intelligence (representing subconscious awareness and unmet need) to be understood and integrated.

Wow! I’ve never experienced anything like this! It’s really powerful what SJ is doing for people. My first session brought so much clarity.
Before the session I was feeling a bit anxious, but having 'met' SJ virtually before the session via the video introduction, I already liked her and could see her compassion and empathy, which did make entering into the whole experience easier.
I was pretty daunted by the thought of engaging with some of my hidden, pushed down, raw emotions (especially my anger which I had no idea how to engage with!) but SJ was full of gentle encouragement and she was quick to build rapport and put me at ease. She made it a safe place to explore my feelings and explained regularly what she thought was happening or what to focus on. I started to trust that my emotions were actually there as a help and not a hindrance.
For so long I’ve hidden from my 'negative' emotions, but now I feel a genuine lightness. It was unlike any other counselling session I’ve had before! Often the heaviness of my difficulties weigh on me after a session and I come away feeling exhausted. My session with SJ was so different and actually felt refreshing! I met with some friends that afternoon and was raving about how light I felt even after a pretty hardcore emotional therapy session!
I came away feeling valuable and supported, and was even able to sit with my daughter that evening and validate her in the way SJ did for me.
I still have a long way to go on this difficult road but I experienced a surge of hope that if I can listen to the inner voice SJ helped me discover, that is on my side, I can make that my voice for others too, and let my emotions fight for me instead of fighting against them. It makes me believe I can be stronger and it's ok that it's a journey. My emotions have never felt like my friend and now they genuinely do, and I'm looking forward to getting to know them more. I can see how they've been trying to speak to me for a long time but I just haven't known what to do with them so constantly push them away.
This experience has been so valuable to me. I've been thinking for a while that maybe emotions can be beautiful and my first session has really consolidated that. I believe everybody has emotions and connecting with them, asking questions of them, and allowing yourself to feel them fully, is the start of a beautiful friendship where you no longer see them as your enemy but as part of your humanity.
