So, can talking to someone help? ABSOLUTELY! Regardless of the reason you might keep it in, talking has powerful psychological benefits that might not be obvious. Life can throw up many challenges and I am able to offer a safe, supportive, confidential environment for adults and young people to talk through and try and make sense of what they are finding difficult. Sometimes, we can struggle to find the words to share our internal world or communicate our feelings.

At Together Let’s Change (TLC)– Counselling and Coaching Service, I offer a bespoke ‘wrap around’ approach when working with couples, individuals, children and young people, setting activities between each session, which allows you on-going personal growth and development. By supporting you to explore difficulties, my aim is to facilitate you to have a deeper awareness of your core triggers and understanding of your patterns of behaviours, leading to lasting change. My belief is that you are the true expert in the therapeutic or coaching relationship, as you know your situation more than anyone else and what challenges you are experiencing in your life. What my role is to offer you a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to support you on your journey of discovery. If you would like any further information or you are unsure about how I could support you, please feel free to give me a call or if you prefer drop me an email on 077•• •••••• or a•••••@••••.co.uk
I have worked with many extraordinary and inspiring couples, individuals, children and young people, each bringing their own unique story.
The work that I do is a privilege and it is my passion to, be able to support my clients in achieving their own personal development and growth, overcoming barriers, life hurdles and to move on to become successful in achieving their goals, no matter what they are.
I have spent the last 15 years working as a Relate therapist, seeing couple's, individuals , children and young people, I felt it was time to expand my knowledge and learning in other therapeutic sectors. I am currently a, Head of Clinical Services manager working for a counselling charity that specialises in working with young people from 11-25 years old. Within this role I have work with many varied adults, parents and young people experiencing mental health issues. This has enabled me to run my own private practice along side of this role which complements the skills and work that I offer to my clients.
I offer a bespoke approach to my clients, as I believe that when making the difficult choice to get the support they need, it is import to have an adaptive approach to the therapeutic relationship. What I mean by this, is enabling clients to be able to work with me in the room with the emotional issues and between session to support them by setting 'home work' to then help them to start working on how to think differently in a more practical way. This creates a duel way of working, as this then is a combination of dealing with both our mental and emotional well being side by side.
