I know how impossible it may feel to have someone that could just listen. You may be facing a challenge, or purely feeling stuck in your current circumstances, at that point when you just want to be understood. If you're looking for genuineness, honesty and nonjudgmental support, then I may be the qualified counsellor that you are looking for. As an integrative counsellor, I believe in the power of the therapeutic relationship and the exploration of the subconscious.

I offer a warm, calm, empathic and non-judgemental approach to counselling, giving time and space to talk. I am a qualified counsellor, psychotherapist and hypnotherapist, working with the National Counselling Association. I use a range of counselling styles, based around the individual's needs and I form a strong, therapeutic relationship with clients, which I feel is essential in providing a safe environment for clients to talk and bring about effective change.

We’re all unique, yet we share some challenges in life. Stress, trauma, loss and fear are just a few that can knock us off course. I see therapy as a way not only of getting you back on track, fast, but helping you to fulfil your potential. When the difficulties of life leave you feeling overwhelmed and unable to cope, I can help you to find the first steps to recovery. No one therapy can work for all, so my approach is to build on what works for you, drawing on therapeutic disciplines that best fit your presentation and personality.

Counselling offers a safe place to talk in confidence with someone who can offer another perceptive. Having that protected space, where you can think out loud, can be the starting point for change. Knowing that whatever you say will be contained within the walls where we meet, that your words will be considered in depth, and your feelings will be cared for and held respectfully.

If you are looking to be held by a highly intuitive person who can authentically say, 'I have been there and have come out the other side wiser and happier,' then please do connect. Psychology, counselling, emotional intelligence and hypnotherapy were not enough for me. I trained in a uniquely energetic and subconscious trauma-release method and can also tune in to clients' energy and the exact requirement for personalised medicine.

I am very passionate about the benefits of counselling. I am quite relaxed and very comfortable in my own skin - I tend not to judge other people, rather just work with you, so you can be happy and have a fulfilled life. I don't tend to ask my clients to review my business, because it inevitably means they need to then explain they have had counselling and I don't really believe that I should be asking my clients to need to do that.

I offer an initial free 30minute session. Emotional therapy helps individuals understand their feelings. How these can develop and lead to challenges in life. This type of therapy helps the client release stored feelings and understand where they originate from. This leads the individual to peace and contentment.

Last year a few bad things happened to me at once which I found hard to cope with and made me really stressed. Emily helped ease my stress and made me feel more relaxed. I now feel I can deal with difficulties in my life with a calm, level head. Really glad I went to see her, she helped me when I felt lost.
Looking for genuine, honest support rather than quick fixes? For the last 13 years, I've served through mentoring, executive coaching and counselling to enable people to become more confident, overcome stress or depression, move into a more fulfilling job or build the business they always dreamed of. The most meaningful part of my work is with young people and families in difficult situations as I grew up in a single-parent family. I've been through relationship separation and counselled many couples. I'm mentored and counselled myself which I believe is essential for anyone in a position to help others. On average my sessions are between £50-£75 depending on circumstances. I have a strong passion for my spirituality and my Christian faith informs the values upon which I serve. I specialise in helping people out of toxic families and all forms of trauma, addiction and abuse as well as building a thriving career or business. A percentage of my income is invested into pro-bono work with vulnerable people who can't afford it. I'm DBS checked to work with young people. Message me with any questions. (N.B I am not a psychotherapist but as a counsellor and coach this site puts me in that category)
The growth I experience myself and at the same time seeing someone I care for and have worked with for a period of time breaking through in an area they struggle with. Like standing up for themselves or getting the promotion they wanted.
I was mentored, coached and counselled myself from the age of 24 for the last 14 years. I had a pretty difficult upbringing and I found people I could trust who guided me. I changed so much from the experience that I want other people to have the same thing. I feel it's my duty to pass on what I received. Especially to young people.
I'm not here to convince or sell anyone on my mentoring, coaching and counselling services. I believe if there is a natural connection and a resonance then things will unfold naturally. The foundation for a good mentoring and coaching relationship is that there is a mutual bond with the person both ways. That needs to be there for trust to be built.
Yes I work a lot remotely nowadays after Covid. Using Zoom and on the phone.
Remote working through Zoom mainly both through group sessions and 1-1 work.
