I offer a safe, confidential space where together we can explore the feelings and issues you may be experiencing. I believe that you are the best person to understand how your issues affect you and to what extent. I will not judge you, but will listen with empathy and respect and together we can explore solutions to the issues that feel very real to you. I believe our mental health and wellbeing is as important as our physical health and would consider it a privilege to support you in your journey. We all struggle with different issues and traumas, I love caring for people and this role allows me to care, support and work with people towards wellbeing in their own time. Having been a nurse in the nhs for many years I wanted to start a business where i can focus on mental health and wellbeing. Many people came to me as a practice nurse with physical health issues also had psychological needs and were not sure where to turn to for help. I was frustrated with mental health being viewed as not a priority when so many people are struggling. I went back to university and retrained doing a BA (hons) in counselling and psychotherapy so I could start a business providing effective mental health and wellbeing services when people need them.
I have cared for people in different ways through my whole career. I love supporting people to feel better in themselves. My role is not to tell you what to do but to go on your journey with you, supporting you in the direction you choose as I believe no-one knows you better than you. No-one knows what hurts like you, I offer you a safe non-judmental space to allow you to explore your issues with me, when you feel the time is right.
