I hold a BSc (hons) degree from the University of East London in Integrative Counselling which included extensive training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Person-Centred Therapy and Existential Therapy. It is also the only degree which is recognised by the BACP of which I am a member and am working towards full accreditation. I also hold diplomas permitting work with clients who have experienced Domestic Violence, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, Anxiety, Inner Child Healing Issues, Depression, Addiction Dependency, Anger Issues or who are Bipolar.

I offer a holistic approach to clients and each client gets a tailor made programme to suit their specific needs. I see clients in my home practice or on a Skype call so there is a flexible approach to how I see my clients. I offer a safe place where you are able to talk and work through challenges. I have had several years of experience working with clients to help them achieve their specific goals , I am lucky that clients trust me to help them in their difficult times.

The definition of counselling states that it is a theory-based process which helps clients to resolve everyday life issues and concerns. The difference between counselling and coaching is simple. Your counsellor is there for you; to talk to and most importantly – to listen, reflecting your thoughts and feeding back like a mirror until you have found the source of your problems and solution for them.

Sometimes life can be overwhelming and we can be dealing with something painful. You do not have to struggle alone. I offer a safe space to work through your difficulties. It is only when we speak to someone unconnected from us that we hear our thoughts and how we are really feeling. We primarily focus on clients that are dealing with life’s difficulties such as work, education, relationships and many more.

Hi, I'm Paul and I am a BACP registered Counsellor. As a therapist my outlook is centred on the belief that change is possible, and that you have the ability to create a more fulfilling life for yourself. While the process may require effort and patience, I am committed to supporting and guiding you every step of the way.​ I use a variety of approaches to support my clients, which I am happy to discuss in detail but broadly speaking, I am a person-centred, integrative therapist.

I am patient and empathic , with a focus on providing quality, experienced counselling and specifically trained to work face to face and in a remote (video/telephone) setting. I work with Adults and families. I am a registered member of the BACP(British association of Counselling and Psychotherapy) and work to the ethical framework. I hold professional indemnity insurance and are DBS checked.
