The unusual thing for me is the menu. Rather that being set out by type of dish they are listed under price, £6 £8 £10, £12
It's not easy to find specific dishes but it makes you explore the options.
Service was waitress at table but was a little slow. Our party of 12 sat at 7:30 and finally are around 8:30. Food was excellent good sized portions and fresh and tasty.
So it probably diserves a 4.5 stars I just marked it down on speed of service although to be fair for a reunion like that we were not in rush.

I am a fully qualified chef who has over 15 years of catering experience, working in the best restaurants in and around Warwickshire. When I became a father in 2016 I wanted to find a way of balancing the job that I am so passionate about with a happy home life. We all know a chefs life in the restaurant trade can be very demanding and the long hours aren't conducive to family life, so I took my career in another direction.
