Great service from start to finish. Jason was friendly and professional when he got in touch with a quote and arrived when planned. I booked him to put up 4 flat pack items, 1 came without instructions but due to his prior experience he was able to assemble it with no issues. Jason left all the boxes in a neat pile. Our property is a 3 bed terraced cottage built in 1908 and we are a family of 4.
In March 2018 we decided that we would like to convert our loft into a 4th bedroom.
I decided to get 3 quotations for the work and 1 of those was Tom (TH Joinery Services York). I rang him on the Monday and discussed with him our plans and he came out to view the job on the Wednesday.
My first impressions of Tom was his politeness. He confirmed that we needed our existing ceiling removing and lowering to create head room in the loft. This is obviously very disruptive job as there is no way anybody can live on the 1st floor whilst 110 year old ceilings are knocked down.
Toms quote arrived promptly and the best thing for a customer is it was split between materials and labor so you know where your money is going.
Once we accepted the quote a date was set for the works to begin and it was all on our terms. We decided we were going to remain in the property but live on the ground floor whilst the work was carried out. That meant everything upstairs onto the ground floor! (stressful)
Tom and his team made a time that was very disruptive and stressful for ourselves as easy as it could be and carried out the work to a great standard. The work was completed on schedule and Tom was happy to carry out some smaller jobs within our property (a new back door).
So I would definitely recommend T.H Joinery services to anyone and already have.
They were always there when they said they would be, professional, honest and respectful tradesman.
I have since been in touch with Tom regarding carrying out some smaller joinery jobs in our house and he is happy to come and do them.
