Back in early 2015 we were supposed to go into business together. As my Dad was building the business I was wrapping up on other projects preparing to go live with our venture. Sadly he suffered a big heart attack and passed away leaving the business in limbo. After a lot of pondering I took the plunge and pressed on with our plans, and here we are almost 3 years in and doing well.
The main catalyst for starting L G Maintain was to put the customer first!
Over the years in the industry we heard so many horror stories of rogue builders so we set about trying to change that.
One of the key things for us is to carry out the work in the shortest time possible but at the same time dedicating all our attention solely to the project we are working on, and not moving onto the next project until the current one is complete.
Keeping it simple is important, customers can rest assured that they will see the same face throughout the projects rather than 5 different trades walking through the door from one day to the next. This we find, can create confusion and miscommunication so we keep the trades to a minimal, and only use other trades in cases where we need them.
If a job takes 8 days to complete the customer knows that there will be 8 days of disruption and that’s it, no return visits to finish bits that were missed out, no turning up for a few hours and then disappearing leaving the customer unsure when or if we are coming back.
The customer can rest assured that we will turn up when we say we will and not leave until the job is complete, and the customer is happy.
It’s as simple as that!
