That it’s not our job. It used to be! We are ex-pro recording artists from the 70s and we left the music business professionally decades ago.
We put this band together for the joy of getting back out on the road and playing the music we love exactly like the original records.
We enjoy having vintage guitars that are worth more than our cars and vintage amplifiers that give an authentic sound from the 70s.
We enjoy appearing at ordinary folks parties, beer festivals, big stage festivals, - we are still big kids and we love the roar of the crowd let’s be honest!
We enjoy people cheering at the end of the songs we play particularly well (our lead guitarist plays the iconic solos note for note and SOUNDS like the original artists be it Jimi Hendrix, Paul Kossof or Marc Bolan).
What do you like about a job - we love the music
We are all socialists. Nevertheless two of us have been successful filthy capitalists with our own companies in the past, after we gave up playing music professionally years ago.
Our lead guitarist recently retired from his job as head of European business development for an enormous Japanese software company who do all the U.K. government’s software. For the past five years he’s been working with Boris and the Cabinet helping them dig themselves out of the mess that is Brexit. (We named the band below the border because Frank was working with them on the forever insoluble Irish Border problem!)
What inspired us to start our own businesses back then was not dancing on somebody else’s strings.
What inspired us to start this band is our ability to be able to play the soundtrack of our youth exactly like the original records.
So this isn’t a business - we’re not doing it for the money and we have no interest in the money. Hence our very low fees.
We are exceptionally good players, we have a great vocals and we will give you a guests a they will remember.
We’re easy-going very friendly down-to-earth and we don’t sweat the small stuff - just tell us what you need.
Between us we’ve done around 5000 gigs since we were 15!

We didn’t play until we were all vaccinated! If you look at the calendar on our website you’ll see we lost some very special bookings during the pandemic.
