Absolutely wonderful ceilidh band!! Band played at one of the University of St Andrews' Charity Balls and truly made the evening so special. Music was beautiful, calling and demonstrations of songs were very clear and band members were very engaging with guests.
Would highly recommend, band went above and beyond our expectations!

Houlies (noun) - wild, drunken brawls, especially at Penny Weddings. The Houlies formed in 2017, when like-minded musicians with a love of traditional music came together from across the North-East of Scotland. A four-piece ceilidh band, The Houlies deliver a modern, funky, and energetic sound more in keeping with that of a contemporary trad group than a Scottish Country Dance band.

The Jennifer Ewan Band perform a stirring mix of compelling original songs and old-time Cajun dance music with a Celtic tint. The band comprises singer-songwriter/guitarist Jennifer Ewan and reunites two former members of Deaf Heights Cajun Aces in Kim Tebble on accordion/flute and Simon Fildes on bass. Completing the line-up is rub board player Mark Burke (The Boat Band, Buzzcocks).

What a pleasure it was to rent bikes from Peter. He gave us great electric bikes outfitted with all the essentials. It really made it possible to see more things than by foot and we kept warm to boot! Peter recommend fed some great hidden gems for us to check out and even a historical pub and places to check out live music. Don’t hesitate to work with him on a bespoke tour or bike rental. You will not be disappointed. Missing Scotland already.
