Jane was absolutely brilliant with two of our employees. She conducted initial interviews with both myself and the two team members to understand: the needs of the business, the existing skillsets & professional ambitions, among many other things.
After the initial session, Jane recommended a qualification that effectively blended the business needs & the individual' professional aspirations. The employees spoke glowingly of Jane's teaching methods, and how she was able to break down difficult to grasp concepts into easily digestible bites.
Where Jane really shone above previously used trainers is that she was always available as a business coach for the students, both for the qualification, and in a wider business context. My Journey: From Personal Struggle to Professional Purpose
The seeds of Wise Elephant were planted during a challenging period in my own professional life. About 25 years ago, I found myself feeling stuck, unfulfilled, and disconnected from my true potential. I was climbing the corporate ladder, but I’d also started a family. My priorities shifted and I realised something fundamental was missing – a sense of purpose, alignment, and genuine fulfilment.
This wasn't just a career challenge; it was a deep personal crisis. I realised that many professionals experience this same silent struggle:
- Feeling trapped in careers that don't truly satisfy them
- Doubting their capabilities and losing self confidence
- Lacking a clear path forward and not knowing how to find it
- Struggling to balance professional success with personal well-being
My own transformation became my calling. I invested heavily in personal development, coaching, and self-discovery. I re-trained as an assessor, quality assurer, coach and trainer. Through this journey, I discovered something powerful:
