Excellent service from Weather Tech, from Scott coming to give us the initial quote through to Craig and Stu fitting 2 replacement Velux windows and internal finishings by Ryan today (not forgetting the scaffolder/s). Every one of them was prompt, friendly and extremely tidy. Superb from start to finish! Nothing was too much trouble for Scott and his amazing team! Scott came out and gave us his advice regarding a new conservatory roof. Damaged out phone line So many broken tiles and trashed the garden. The scaffold was been up 6 weeks. The management sent a second team out to sort the problems. They were great. We had a great experience this last week with very professional roofers. They were on time approachable and listened to our questions. They were tidy and respectful of the property. There was a lot of rain around while they tried to work but they explained their techniques for keeping the building watertight, thank goodness! Recently moved into a property and the roof was leaking and old so needed to be replaced. I contacted Weather Tech roofing and I am so glad that I did. From start to finish I was kept informed, initially they said the roof couldn't be replaced until the new year around March time. But because of the leaks and the fact the whole house had been re plastered they brought the work forward. It took their excellent team 5 days to complete and it was done over the Xmas holidays and even on new years eve. Needless to say the weather was not great but they worked through it, and now the property has a lovely new hat and no leaks. I contacted Weathertech in August after recommendations I’d seen on Facebook and visiting the website. Surveyor came out within a few days, quote received by email which was more than expected but we were happy with company so paid a deposit and went on waiting list for work to be done (anticipated to be Oct / Nov). We recently had Weathertech to replace our polycarbonate conservatory roof to a flat roof with a lantern. Cannot praise this company highly enough! Scott and his team are true professionals, their work is outstanding. The difference it has made is unbelievable, and can now sit in our conservatory on a hot day and feel totally comfortable, just wish we had it done years earlier. Our neighbour chose these people to reroof their house and their roof looks great. Our roof however looks a lot worse than when they started. The join between our roofs used to be along the centre of the chimney stack. These cowboys ripped off 6 inches of our tiles and now finish next doors roof a couple of inches over our attic. The broke a load of the remaining tiles and tried to cover it up by swapping them for new tiles - which don't match. When I confronted them over it, they first lied about doing it and when I said I had pictures they got aggressive. Apparently I'm supposed to be grateful as we "got new tiles for free". They even ripped off one of my ridge tiles and just left it perched on the roof, ready to be blown off in the wind. Just remember that your choice of these cowboys affect more than just you, and as your agents you will be responsible for the cost of making good the damage they cause. Looking around at other houses there are obviously plenty of roofers around who can do the job without damaging your neighbours, so seriously consider them instead. More...
