Can’t praise Adam and his colleagues highly enough. We had a few overgrown trees at the bottom of our garden, including a couple of large oaks that were getting a bit choked.
Having seen trees that have simply had the tops lopped off, we had done our research and looked for somebody who knew and cared about trees.
The team arrived when they said they would, did everything they had promised and were extremely polite and courteous. They took some of the height out of the biggest tree, while preserving a nice round shape, removed some dead wood, and pruned the other trees where they needed it, as well as chipping and removing the cuttings, all at a very reasonable price.
So pleased. Our view has improved, the garden will get more light and our beautiful trees are free to continue to grow. All in all, a brilliant job and an excellent service. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anybody whose trees need attention. More...

Adam did a 50 minute drive to give me a quote which I later told him was too cheap for the excellent work he did. He kept to the price of the quote and made no attempt to pad it, so if you manage to get this gent to do your job, you are blessed.

Adam and crew arrived on time , were polite and did a first class job start to finish, had a 70ft Beech tree to come down and a 50ft Sycamore, both with little room for error. I recently arranged for Silcox Tree Services to dismantle a very large ash tree for a friend. I'm pleased to say that the service provided was first class and hassle-free. As arranged, Adam and his colleague turned up at 9.00 am, travelling all the way from Llanelli to Aberdare in the South Wales valleys. They executed the job faultlessly and with great skill, avoiding any damage to neighbouring trees, fences and telephone lines when carefully dismantling the large limbs of this very old ash tree that was diseased with ash dieback.
They completed the job by stacking the timber logs neatly and chipping all brushwood from the tree with their Timberwolf wood chipper.
I will definitely be using Silcox Tree Services again in the future.

Adam Silcox has done a lot of work for me recently from climbing and sectioning trees in a difficult roadside location to manicuring the garden hedges. Silcox trees and gardens was very poffesional and did the job in no time. Very quick to give a quote and to get the job done. The oak tree was a very large tree and managed to do it within the time frame given. Silcox trees and gardens kept my garden clean and tidy and if there was any mess they soon cleaned it up and didn't leave until my garden was tidy.
