I have to write this as I am so surprised that Eli and Charles had such an awful time and gave her such a bad review.
She has looked after my dog boarded her walked her and trained her aswell and she gets so excited and waits at the door when I mention her name.
On the Saturday I bumped into Sharpari with the dogs who were all playing and running around and generally having so much fun.
When we left we could see Sharpari being pulled along and I was worried for her but she did everything in her power to care for the welfare of those dogs

Our experience with Shahpari wasn't good. We were supposed to leave our 1 year old Golden Retriever with her for a week, but had to go and pick him up after 3 days and a lot of stress.

Some facts:
- Our dog had just had a small surgery to repair a nail he had broken. The vet told us to keep a bandage on. Theo removed it, and we asked her to put it back on; but she just said he didn't want it on. Of course the dog doesn't want the bandage on; but with patience you can do it (the next sitters we took him to did it right away no problem). We also ask that she wipes the wound with these antiseptic wipes the vet gave us. She refused to use them saying that they had chemicals! and instead applied something else she had. Finally, when she showed us a video of where she had applied her own product, she was pointing at the wrong nail - she didn't even know where the injury was.
- Secondly, on the 2nd day Theo was with her, I noticed on a picture that she wasn't using the lead we gave her and made a gentle comment about the fact that he's a puppy on training and still pulling, and therefore it's better to use his chest harness rather than a lead attached to his neck. It was a suggestion. That led to about 20 messages saying that I was trying to micro manage her, and if I didn't like the way she looked after Theo I could come and pick him up. That was repeated in every message she sent from that point onward. My husband and I were on a vacation abroad, and spent hours really stressed trying to say to her that if she preferred to use her lead it was ok (to be honest, at this point we were just afraid for our dog as she seems really angry for just suggesting to use our harness, so we were just agreeing with her knowing we were coming to pick up our dog).
- Shahpari offered us a discount on her usual rate, which we accepted grateful. Now, we didn't ask for that discount. In fact, when she told us her rate, we said we couldn't afford her services and moved on. We had already started talking to someone else, when she called us again to say that she would reduce her price. So we accepted. Well, little we knew this would be held against us in every conversation. Every time she was able to, she threw that on our faces saying things like 'for the rate you're paying... xxx', or 'I had to decline other clients to take you on this rate....', etc. Please, don't offer rates you're not comfortable with, as it's very stressful for us to think that now you're unhappy and not looking after our dog properly.
- Again, in most texts she sent (and she sent loads), she said how bad my dog was. This is something a dog parent doesn't want to hear about, and in fact, it's incorrect. Theo has been with other trainers/sitters and nobody has ever complaint about him. He's just a young and energetic golden, and as someone who's experience with dogs, she should know better.
- There are other examples of things we didn't think were right during these 3 days, but I think you get the gist. We picked up Theo and took him to this sitter who's been raving about how wonderful he is to be around.

I would never use this person again. This was an awful experience and I'm glad it's over. More...

Shahpari has been with our puppy Gastone for the past two weeks and even though he is only 10 weeks old, we can already see improvements!

We really enjoyed working through the puppy basics course with Shahpari. Definitely needed and wanted someone 1:1 that came into our home and worked with the space we have and could see our set up. As a first time dog owner, that was invaluable. She was great with my 2 children, helping and encouraging them to engage in the sessions which again, I felt was invaluable. 3 hours in one go is probably unrealistic with a puppy and after an hour and a half or so Nellie lost focus and Shahpari was so accommodating and said she’d break the session in half and do the 2nd part the following weekend. I guess this was inevitable and perhaps could be planned this way instead of trying to do 3 hours together.
Shahpari very obviously adores dogs and pours her heart into what she does. She teaches that a firm, clear command and voice and tone are very important in training but that outside of this loving, fun playfulness is also just as important. She has a lovely way with dogs and helps you feel at ease especially when it’s all new!!
We all enjoyed working with Shahpari and thank her for all her knowledge and experience that she was able to share with us.

We hired Shahpari to help train (and to help us with) our 9 week old Lab and she has been absolutely fantastic. Incredible experience with thoughtful, easily digestible tips and techniques to help from day 1 onwards with your puppy. We left our dog, Suki, in Shahpari’s care over Christmas and New Years and she was absolutely wonderful with updating us over the period. Shahpari has done her Pawtonomy course with us and our 12 week old mini dachshund Murphy. She was flexible and kind, knowing when Murphy needed to take a break. She taught us some very valuable things that have shown big improvements in his behaviour like redirection and recall. The off lead training was immense - I was incredibly anxious about this and she put us at the ease, taking us through Battersea Park to meet other dogs and socialise gently. We felt reassured knowing she was there the whole way to protect him.
She even went out of her way to find children to introduce him to as we don’t know any ourselves!

Amazing Experience with Shahpari – Highly Recommended!

We had the pleasure of working with Shahpari for a 2-week boarding and training program for our dog, Efes. From the start, it was clear that Shahpari has a deep love for dogs, which showed in the care and attention she gave to Efes. Her training methods were highly effective and made a noticeable difference in Efes’ behavior. He came back much calmer and more obedient, and we could see how much he learned both from Shahpari and the other dogs in her care.

We really appreciated the frequent updates she sent us during the training. It kept us connected and reassured, knowing Efes was in great hands. Shahpari is an excellent trainer who loves dogs. They stay at her flat, are able to chase each other round her garden and go for walks and outings to give them confidence with other dogs and in situations which previously frightened them.
Red the cocker-poodle benefitted hugely from staying two weeks with her, and I have learned about dogs’ personalities in dogs terms, as well as begun to understand how to manage my relationship with him.

Shahpari has been great with both my dogs. I left them with her for boarding a whole week and absolutely amazing!

Two border collies with lots of energy are not easy to handle and she absolutely managed to do so. She sent pictures and videos of them all the time, took many walks daily so they could play and be happy - she even trained the little one to be able to walk without a leash and be with other dogs without barking.

Shahpari has been walking my 11 yrs old Cockerlier spaniel Darcy each day for an hour or so While I am at work. She is reliable, extremely patient, understanding and affectionate with Darcy whom I know has become quite attached to Shahpari from the get go. Everyday Shahpari sends me very touching video updates of their adventures together, which are always varied and fun, which makes me feel much less guilty about being away from Darcy during the working week, I wish I was on the adventure with them!! I know that Darcy's wellfare and happiness is Shahpari's number 1 priority, unlike other dog walkers/sitters who seem to collect dogs like trophies and walk them in huge packs with little regard for their needs individually. She has only ever walked DARCY on a one to one basis or max with 1 or 2 more dogs, but she carefully considers and juggles her diary so that the dogs she brings if she does bring, are appropriate fits with my Dog in terms or age, and temperament - this is Shahpari's master stroke, because at 11yrs old Darcy is, shall we say enjoying her twilight years and quite particular but there is life in this old dog yet thanks to Shahpari!!

Shahpari has been great - both for me and my 6 month old Weimaraner. Her training was calm, confident and practical (and the use of follow-up video clips, voice notes and text descriptions really helped with training between sessions). I would highly recommend her.

She kindly offered to replace remaining two hours with the two days of dog sitting, but it didnt really feel as a like for like exchange. I'm sorry that you feel this way and surprised that you didn't call me first to discuss which is what normal people do, before writing your review, especially as we got on so well: But instead have chosen to write an inaccurate, unkind review with the intention to destroy my exemplary reputation on the Bark platform. As per all our conversation on WhatsApp, you were informed of my professional dog training services prior to booking and my 48 hour cancellation notice, namely: My hourly rate is £150 an hour and the three hour Fast Track Pawtonomy Course is reduced to £400 instead of £450 as it is 3 hours in one visit. We trained for the first hour last Saturday,during which I taught you Correct Recall, obedience techniques and potty training. Your puppy lost concentration after one hour as he's only 10 weeks old. I confirmed that I was more than happy to come back another time that would be convenient for you the following weekend to complete the following two hours of training for you. Perhaps, as English isn't yours or your husband Jonattan 's first language, you may have misunderstood the above. You asked if I also do doggie daycare, as you and your husband didn't want to leave your puppy alone for Tuesday and Wednesday due to your work schedules in your high powered jobs in the city, as your puppy's barking would disturb your neighbours. So, as a gesture of good will, I offered to do two full days of doggie daycare and complete the two hours training during last Tuesday and Wednesday this week, which you were received and grateful for. If you were not happy at the end of the day on Tuesday, may I respectfully ask why you accepted my services on Wednesday? You dropped your puppy off at 7am on Tuesday and Wednesday and collected him around 5pm, so you have had 20 hours in total for two extra hours training at my reduced rate, not including the doggie daycare fees that I generously gave you complimentary and have chosen to write an unsavory, inaccurate review to show your ungratefulness after I have gone over and above the call of duty to accommodate you! I'm a dog lover and have long term friendships and relationships with my clients and their dogs as evidenced in all my other 5 star reviews and an outstanding reference from a prominent Colonel in The Ministry of Defence (available upon request). I would therefore, appreciate it if you would be good enough not to defame my outstanding reputation: I am not your minion, Sir! It is clearly evidenced above, you have taken advantage of my professionalism and good nature. However, my offer to complete the following two hours of training with you still stands inspite of your unkind review, as I do everything with integrity. We were helping our son move into his new flat in London. Obviously it’s not practical to have a Springer Spaniel around when you’re trying to do this so I contacted Bark and Shahpari responded very quickly to my plea for help. I met her at Battersea Park and she started playing with Lily straight away, throwing the ball (Lily’s favourite thing!) and making a fuss of her. I felt comfortable straight away that she’d be well cared for for the afternoon. As the move took longer than we thought, I contacted Shahpari to let her know and she was very flexible and accommodating which meant we didn’t feel under pressure to pick Lily up until we’d finished. It was a last minute booking but she had agreed 4 hours previously to take my dog early for an overnight stay and left it to evening to cancel so other people who had said they were interested could no longer cover for him. Shahpari is an excellent dog trainer. Very intuitive and generous with her time. My puppy responded very well to her and she sent extra training videos after the sessions to remind me of the technique. Highly recommend.
