Jakes big van broke down but he still carried out by house move with a smaller van, resulting in him doing around 8 trips in place of two. I asked Jake to mount a shelf MDF board in a property that I let , reseal a balcony door to reduce heat loss. Additionally Jake claimed he expert in installing CCTV and I trusted him . The tenant later texted me to say they would not let Jake do nay work for them; he was late on three occasions without giving any notice or explanation. Jake got wooden shelf which is fire hazard above the radiator, he did not fix the shelf and lastly he could not set up the CCTV and left it to the tenant to complete the job. I trusted him and paid him £200 but this was partially my fault as the tenant did not tell me about this miss till much later. I gave him 5* for painting but would recommend him to do any bigger job. I am very disappointed for paying him £300 and ending up getting a carpenter and CCTV expert to clear his miss. More...

Hi mak Firstly I never installed CCTV in your Property, the stuff your saying doesnt make sence. I called you to make sure your happy with the job before you pay me and you said your happy. Also my car broke down on the way to the property and I told the tenant also told you I won’t be able to make it so we rescheduled I don’t know where your getting your facts from as the mdf shelf is thick how can it be a fire hazard? it’s a fire hazard if it gets exposed to 204.c, the tenant said he was happy to, Would appreciate if you can contact me

They worked extremely hard right from the moment they arrived and assembled the furniture extremely fast and to a high standard. Jake is a very good chippy, knows how to do everything for a fair price and does all jobs properly. I recently got my house renovated and I got Jake in to do my kitchen and he done a really good job, after he finished the kitchen he asked me if I wanted help with the rest of the house and he said he can do it all.
