After getting touch through Bark.com online Tommy Cochrane from TmC Planning & Property Development Ltd was in touch with 5 minutes. After being served with a letter from the council looking for planning permission regarding work carried out in my garden I was in total confusion because I own the area of land I did work on. Tommy was very knowledgeable & was reassuring regarding what types of planning required. He came out to measure up the very next day. Within a few days he submitted drawings of the layout of my garden, new wall & pictures I had taken showing the mess of the previous look. This along with the retrospective planning requirements & information to the planning department of the council. I would say within 3-4 weeks my neighbours were getting letters regarding this. Customers detail got lost in the system. So we can accept he was not happy with this. Complete incompetence we do not accept as he has never received any services from us. He seemed to go overboard when we gave him the price of a Structural SER Certificate. We have to question if someone has been in the building trade for 30 years, why didn’t he use someone he knows in that trade or has he burned his bridges with his attitude. If he is in the building industry, he will understand that SER certificates are not cheap. I think the rest of ours reviews show that this was one small mistake from a highly grumpy customer. Happy we didn’t do work for him as I believe it could have been a nightmare.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I was a Councillor and saw how frustrated people and developers were with the planning system, so I went to university as a mature student to study Planning and Property Development.
Why should our clients choose you?
I treat people as I like to be treated. I give people an option for one price or per hour.

Yes, I can, but I prefer to do site visits. However, I can do Zoom, Skype and Facetime. I can usually gain a lot of information from desktop surveys but sometimes a site visit is required. Site visits can also take place by myself or with one of my team.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
I do not enter people's homes. When we do meet it is always outside with social distancing. I have a family member who I also need to protect, so safety comes first.
