Working with Paramountbuilt has been horrendous and after 4 weeks im still no further forward. They are slow, unqualified and do not follow or meet their own contractual obligations.
They did not send a structural engineer to site to review my project as stated in their own documentation. They then looked to blame on a conference call the surveyor they did send who was not qualified to hold a tape measure. It's taken weeks to design a footing for a project of no more than 1.5m2 and today is the last straw. They are utterly incompetent, unqualified and should be avoided at all costs. I am now in the process of reporting them to the unstitute of structural engineers trading standards and my legal team.

Do not trust Paramount Built (Overseas cowboy outfit refusing to refund)
I have spent £500 for structural engineering plans for a loft conversion and rear extension.
Their calculations were completely wrong checked by both my builder and the building inspector. In their own words they believe they should not use the architect plans who has actually did a site visit. Me and my builder were having massive communications issues with this company and we realised from speaking to the inspector that they didn't operate in the UK. When we had a zoom call with them - they refused to show their faces on camera. I have never dealt with such an amateur outfit. Their phone number just goes straight to voice mail and they never have a named contact. Yesterday when I tried to call it was redirected to another company who had never heard of Paramount build or dealt with structural engineering plans. Do the honourable thing and refund my £500. I am going to report them to trading standards and other platforms as I can't believe any of the positive reviews.
