Great experience working with Joanna (Amor) Nutrihealth 1to1. We (I) had a big time challenge against a medical issue following a gout diagnosis post blood tests.
Joanna gave me access to the Libro app, so as I could capture my food consumption, along with some laminated visuals to help me. Initially getting used to portions & controls was a little difficult, as I thought I was eating far more (in volume) than I actually was according to app - nice surprise!
I was able to manage my diet and have just had my latest blood results which have amazed my GP, she claims hasn't seen such positive turnaround in a long, long time. Joanna has been ace and we have enjoyed our a weekly catch and together we have monitored my progress.

All of those slimming books I wasted money on!
Joanne was my last attempt at losing the weight I needed to lose. I did check other nutritionists and chose Joanne who contacted me to discuss what I wanted to gain from this 12 week session and how we would go about it. She was friendly, none judgemental and very supportive. I made a payment online and I was not disappointed. Joanne was in contact with me regularly and she sent information through the post for me to refer to. I have lost a lot of weight gradually, more than at any of those clubs I attended and I feel confident in my future of never returning to my old weight. Not just weight loss but I feel so much better mentally by eating more nutritional foods. I don’t panic if we go out for a meal now as Joanne was supportive and helpful in advising me to try and forward plan. If it didn’t work for one meal though, it was not the end of the road for me. As a survivor of recent Breast Cancer and being a very autoimmune person I have been researching anti inflammatory diets with a view to overhauling my nutrition.
It’s a minefield of conflicting and overwhelming information on the internet so I started to feel very confused. On top of that I am awaiting life changing surgery . I was told that I need to lose 3 stone before even getting on a 3 year waiting list , so I was feeling very lost in how to manage all this .
Joanna contacted me promptly from bark and we had a positive and comprehensive first call to assess my needs .
Joanna didn’t seem phased by what I thought was quite a challenge and set me up on The Lifestyle pathway .
I felt I needed to start very promptly so within a week I was set up ready to start my journey .
Equipped with the tools and Information needed to make a start I jumped straight in alongside biweekly phone calls .
Joanna is prompt, very personable and expert at drawing a line and moving forward.
Expecting instant results it took me a few weeks to settle in and was very negative about myself ‘failing’ or not losing damaging habits overnight .
Joanna was very supportive and patient with me and always helped me to see the positive changes I was already making and giving me goals and targets to move forward each week .
The 12 weeks have been interesting, enlightening and quite a journey of self discovery. I am working hard on my nutrition and making a small dent in my weight loss when I genuinely thought I would never lose substantial weight again.
I was hoping for facts, guidelines and tools from working with a Nutritionist . What was a huge unexpected bonus was how much emotional support I was given. ( Far more than any number of slimming clubs I had paid into and not succeeded).
I am by no means transformed yet and there is still work to do but I feel positive and motivated to try and go it alone now.
Even so , Joanna has not cut ties . I know that if I start to falter or undo good results nutritionally or weight wise that the door is open to pick up again . Fully recommended . Thank you 😊

Nutrihealth 1to1 was the first nutrionist on Bark to contact me. My primary focus was to ensure that I was getting all the nourishment my body needs and to align to a healthy eating plan for my age and lifestyle. Weight loss was secondary but I hoped it would naturally follow a healthy eating plan. It did! Joanna started with addressing my preferences and usual eating plans. Within a few weeks, we had substantially reduced the saturated fat content in my meals and snacks and just by adding more foods I like to my daily or weekly plan, addressed some dietary requirements. Joanna also provided menu suggestions aligned to my preferences, many of which have now become family meal favourites! In less than 6 months with weekly non judgmental support calls with Joanna where we discussed strategies for eating behaviour change, handling social eating events, and how to maintain healthy eating in the long term, I am visibly healthy (hair, skin, eyes, nails) and mentally more able to handle stress. Additionally, I have a healthy BMI, body fat percentage and my waist measurement is less than half my height. I have lost just over three stone during this time and dropped two to three dress sizes. Weight loss has been managed and comfortable at around two pounds a week. The success for me has come from Joannas common sense, non judging approach and focusing on lifestyle strategies rather than only weekly weight loss results. I feel I have learned a lot about how and why I eat and importantly how I can now maintain a healthy eating plan without depriving myself nutrionally or emotionally. This is hugely important, recent research shows that eating well can have a massive impact on our mental health, as well as helping our body to stay healthy. It can be confusing for people to know how healthy their diet is, but our state of art software takes all the guess work out it. What do you love most about your job?
I love inspiring people to make the changes they need to in order to lead a happy healthy life and helping some to lose weight, gain confidence and reach potentials they never knew they had in them is just awesome. Also I love working with a great team of people which makes it not seem like work at all.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I have always been interested in food, cooking and nutrition, but I had a lightbulb moment when a close friend was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes and asked me to help him with his nutrition. I worked with him, got him to a point where he lost weight and was able to control his condition and thought this is what I want to do. I spent a year doing a remote leaning course, which I loved and here we are.

Full Nutritional Analysis
Eating a healthy diet is about so much more than getting your five a day (in fact five a day is a myth, should be more like seven). How much calcium do you need per day, how much saturated fat should you have and what about vitamin D?
Our Full Nutritional Analysis service will tell you exactly where you are at, what you are doing right and what you need to address. It can tell you which foods would be a good chose to achieve your optimum nutritional health.

Fodmap Diet
Usually recommended for people with IBS, Crohn's disease and other gut disorders this diet has a wealth of research and some great results behind it. However it can be difficult to navigate without professional help. Our food analysis software takes the guess work out it, which along with our 1to1 support will make this option much easier for you to follow.
Long Covid Nutrition Recovery Plan
This service is tailored around the client's symptoms, which can vary and include fatigue, insomnia, aching limbs and brain fog. There are a whole range of nutritional help we can design around you . We don't promise to cure it, but we can certainly help.
Food Intolerance Testing
Food intolerances effect approximately 3% of the population, that's about 2.1 million of us! Symptoms can range from bloating, cramping, itching and swelling as well as bowel issues.
We can test for a whole range of reactions using either blood spot tests or hair samples.
When we find out what you have , we can then help you to develop your diet to manage this intolerance.
