John and his team have spectacularly transformed the back and the front of my property from the tarmac and concrete jungle it was. I now have a beautiful garden, patio and driveway.
From start to finish North West Landscapes were professional, always punctual and very reliable. Nothing was too much trouble. The price quoted was fair and materials used were of the best quality. John takes pride in his work and it can be seen in the end result.

I would give North West Landscapes owner & fellas 5 out of 5 any day! I had been totally ripped off by Jason Aislabie BEFORE North West Lanscapes took over for me. Jason who I found on Facebook, took £1250 being very close to my last Penny of savings. I am now a single woman who has serious illnesses & use a powerchair to mobilise. He couldn’t care 2 hoots! He said he would do me a new driveway & pathway, my request was that it be done to a standard fit for me to use my powerchair on, allowing me to mobilise to & from my wheelchair accessible vehicle and using the pathway to go down to half of my garden. He kept going for more and more hardcore, the hardcore was not mot 1 and the majority of stones were 4-7mm in size! He was doing major work up at Pine Lake, Carnforth so perhaps it came from there, it also had very little sand mixed in. He was given money to hire out a compactor plate which he rushed for about 1/2-1 hour on his last morning! He went up and down, up and down, up and down the path without the slightest chance of the ‘rocks’ compressing together to form a reasonable solid surface. The pathway had approx 6 inches of this large pieced hardcore, loose and dangerous for me. When I stupidly tried to go on it using my chair, the chair and I grated to a dangerous lob sided halt 6 inches into the rubble. If I could post photos I would! That’s Jacob Aislabie! I saw him pee all over an expensive clump of Bamboo which I had brought with me from my previous home. The Bamboo died within 2 weeks, turned brown!!! Disgusting man! Several times I asked him to return to at least remove all the ‘rocks and stones off my property, tonnes of the stuff! He jus argued and argued. Several times I begged him to return only £800 of the £1250 he stole from me for the c__p hardcore, hire of compactor plate AND for the labour he charged for which got him nowhere! And actually his work and time and all the materials got me ABSOLUTELY nowhere, just stranded in my own garden 10 metres from my back door unable to walk due to a heart condition, rheumatoid and osteoarthritis, Lupus and Finromyalgia!! Appalling treatment! He won’t give me a penny back and knows I can’t go find him. He has a flash new vehicle, a bespoke white truck which is on his FB profile plus a Mini Digger he hires out.
MORAL OF THE STORY IS DO NOT HIRE OUT A HALFWIT, THIEF OR AMATEUR to create a driveway for you! IT WILL COST YOU DEARLY! I can’t afford to have a pathway down the other half of my garden because JASON AISLABIE stole my £1250 which has meant I’ve had to pay a respectable, honest and TRUSTWORTHY Company called NORTH WEST LANDSCAPES to remove the hardcore, dig down and correctly edge my new driveway. North West Landscapes’ boss was doing leaflet drop here, he saw the state my ‘new driveway’ had been left in and after I chatted with him, he said to me “That is the worst job I’ve seen” “It makes me so mad, you’ve been ripped off!” I nearly cried because he genuinely cared. He said he would do my Driveway, if I wanted AND “I can GUARANTEE you it will be done properly.” North West Landscapes worked tirelessly, 3 hard working men each day for 5 days creating one of the best Drives I’ve seen here in Lancaster and that was despite the dreadful state it was left in by Jacob. Please please be careful who you get to do your Landscaping for you locally in Lancaster, Morecambe and round about because you don’t want to end up in the dreadful mess I was in (and financially I’m still in because I hired 2 more eedjits back in Spring for a mass of fencing. I’ve since been told they have put all the posts, over 25 cement posts in upside down, they cut them down and haven’t dug 2 1/2ft down to support them all! Every night if there is a storm I sit in my living room in fear that all 25 unsightly fence posts and 6x6ft panels will fall down one after the other!! Shocking! Again and again I will say just save all the worry and PLEASE hire professionals such as North West Landscapes, they know what they are doing and get the job done efficiently and for a reasonable honest price. I love my new driveway and can’t wait to whizz down half my garden, accessibility is everything to me, especially in my own now lovely garden. John was very quick to respond and he and his team got stuck into what turned out to be a gruelling job. There were stumps and deep roots from an old hedge situated awkwardly right next to the fence that was being re-panelled and upgraded, and they proved very difficult to shift. The fence now looks good and sturdy, and the garden and surrounding areas have all been power-washed and cleared of a sizeable amount of rubbish and waste material. Communication was good throughout, and I was kept fully informed, which is obviously important when unforeseen problems occur and change the nature of the job in process. Recommend. More...

They did not complete the job , not very much left but nevertheless less

Took up block paving which was full of weeds. This was relaid and finished to a high standard. The work was carried out swiftly and efficiently by an excellent, very hard working team who are highly recommended.

Came promptly to look at job and carried out repairs the next day.

They were obviously unskilled in this area of work and, although their workmen worked very hard indeed, they had little idea of how to go about the job. There was little or no direction from their boss. Less time was given to the job than was originally quoted and the overall result was not good. My wife and I (in our 80's) had to finish the job off by sweeping the sand left on the driveway into the many unfilled cracks between the bricks. More...

We were very pleased with our front driveway and rear patio. The works manager, Larry John, had a good team of workers. They arrived early in the morning and were all hard working, pleasant and efficient. We also had a paint job done on the roof trim.
