Jamie had a cancellation therefore he was able to sort out my leak and blocked kitchen sink 2 days earlier which was less stressful for me. The leak was difficult to locate but, after purchasing the copper pipe and connectors, he was finally able to complete the much needed job quickly. This is a rogue trader, who fitted my ensuite bathroom in May. He did not complete the work and failed to respond to any of my messages. The mirrored wall cabinet door has since fallen off and this evening the large towel radiator came off the wall. It's clear it was only held up by 1 screw. Jamie installed a new shower on 16th June but it leaked to the kitchen underneath.
He "fixed" the leak by adding more sealant but the shower leaked even more!
He has now become elusive leaving me with an unusable shower.
Hugely frustrating and stressful, does not reflect well on the industry. More...

The work took longer than expected had to have them back numerous times to correct issues. Last contacted them as original leak not resolved and causing damage £5000 for a bathroom that is falling to bits can't use shower, floor splitting and bits missing looks a mess.

I hired Jamie to do a complete refurbishment of my kitchen. He has done a splendid job including ripping out the old units and tiles, plasterboarding the walls, designing the new kitchen layout, obtaining the units and fitting. Left our bathroom in a state, bath not centred, grouting appalling, siliconed over dark grout which is showing through, took a chunk of wood out of door frame, faulty tile behind door, different coloured tile in window sill, not sealed behind bath, faulty light and fan, mixed up electric wires so fan won’t turn on and turns bedroom lights on and off, the worst thing is they left a live bare wire in roof void, this we found out today after calling out an electrician.

Jamie and Ryan only supplied a very small amount of the materials needed as we'd already bought the tiles and adhesive, bath and side panel, shower and shower screen, heated towel rail, bath and basin taps, and extractor unit, and we were reusing the toilet and basin.
I decided against the false ceiling Jamie pushed for as the void it'd create would just become damp and moldy from the extractor fan he planned to fit. He said the only option then was to install a fan into the loft, so we bought an in-line loft extraction unit but as he came to fit it (2 days before they finished), he said it was too technical for him to fit and we'd need an electrician.
We'd shown the tiles we had when he came to quote for the job due to a tiler saying he'd issues with Wickes tiles, was told they weren't a problem. Part way through, he said he wasn't a tiler (despite this being listed on his profile) so wasn't willing to cut them at the 45° needed for an angular section of wall so fitted them flat with trim to fill the gaps - not a pretty site. Jamie also pushed for me to get some interlocking flooring instead of using the tiles we wanted, because it was easier.
The final day (3 days overdue) seemed rushed, like they couldn't disappear quick enough. Unfortunately, I paid before I checked their work. Shoddy, rushed sealant job at best with areas missed/too loose to be effective, a whole strip of tiling missed down the side of the door, and areas of grouting missed.
Messaged him 3 days later to say I still had a leak into my kitchen but was totally ignored. Have since found the leak is water running under a non-grouted, non-sealed tile.
Being unhappy is only heightened by overhearing Jamie tell Ryan he quotes £2500 for jobs he has no interest in - safe to say we paid more than this. More...
