The adventure and privilege of connecting with individuals on a voyage of discovery and transformation, unique to each one's journey.

I too have struggled with this being human. I know that it takes great courage to reach out and ask for help, and that such courage has at times liberated me. I started InReach Therapy Bristol to meet people where they are and help them put their potential in reach.

I have worked therapeutically with people since 2004 around a variety of mental health and life issues, helping people through transitions and supporting effective change. I work from a variety of psychotherapeutic perspectives, working with the client to utilise therapies which suit them. I don;t subscribe to one approach, but view therapy through a person-centred, integrative approach. I utilise hypnotherapy as a vehicle for psychotherapy when it is beneficial in helping the client access and integrate their own inner resources.

I work online or in person by mutual agreement, offering a hybrid arrangement for those who want it/are able to access my therapy room in Bristol.

Covid-19 is not a prevalent current issue, but by working online I can keep those with whom I work safe should this threat become an issue again.

Services

There are many reasons why people come to therapy. You may have some specific concern, struggle or goal, you may want to explore where you are or where you’d rather be. You may simply feel a need to be heard. We humans are complex beings, as unique as fingerprints and my approach places you as an individual, in whatever situation you find yourself, at the centre of all we do.

I provide a safe, non-judgemental and supportive space in which we can build a transformative relationship. I have a depth of experience and a wide range of therapeutic approaches and tools, which we may wish to draw on. There is no one size fits all.

Hypnotherapy utilises everyday trance states (similar to being absorbed in a book or a film) to enhance therapeutic access to your most resourceful inner strengths. It is a means for effective psychotherapy rather than an end in itself.
