I’ve been using G H Heating for many years now and I’m very pleased. It’s easy to get an appointment and Gavin is reliable, polite and courteous; he wears shoe protectors to keep carpets clean and a mask to protect me from viruses at my request. Also, he cleans up the kitchen after work. He does a really thorough job each year on the central heating system and any remedial work when something needs doing in an emergency. Last year I needed lots of extra work and he organised a powerflush because the system had seized up from not being used for 8 months over summer. Gavin suggested putting on the heating for 20 minutes each Sunday throughout the summer to keep everything ticking over. It didn’t heat up the house, and it meant that everything was working well when it came time to put on the heating in October. I rarely write reviews but Gavin absolutely deserves the best recommendation there is. When I called about a faulty boiler, Gavin offered to come round the same evening to have a look. Unfortunately I had plans, so we arranged it for the next day. Gavin gave me anime hour time window and called to let me know when he was on his way, so I knew exactly what was happened. Gavin solved my issue using his vast expertise and completed the job in an hour. His advice, knowledge and aftercare are of the highest calibre, as well as his professionalism. Another important point to note is their IT system. From the moment you call, you are sent links to their extremely efficient and user friendly internal system, which sets up an account and takes all of your details. It guides you through process and at the end of the job allows you to pay through it and gives you a job report as well as the invoice. It made the whole process smooth and incredibly easy. I was left in a pickle with a broken hot tap and constant running water. No 24 hour emergency contact for my home insurance and of course no emergency for the letting agent. Not sure what to do or where to look I called a plumber, explained and they followed with im not an egineer that will be a call out fee of 180 pounds😯. Not in a financial position to pay that up front I tried one more plumber for advice. Nice man answered the phone and I explained what was happening. He very quickly told me where to look and what to do and then said if there is still a problem call me back. Problem solved and just shows that not everyone is out for a quick buck.
