What I love most about my job is the freedom and impact it gives me. Running Future Energy allows me to take control of my work, build something meaningful, and help people transition to sustainable energy solutions. Seeing a project come together, from an initial consultation to a fully installed system, is incredibly rewarding.
I also enjoy the problem-solving aspect, every installation is different, and finding the best solution for a customer’s needs keeps things interesting. Plus, meeting new clients, growing the business, and sharing my journey through social media adds another layer of fulfilment.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business because I wanted freedom, control, and the ability to create something bigger than myself. After spending 15 years as an electrician, including 5 years working in Australia - I saw firsthand how the industry was evolving, especially with the rise of renewable energy and EV technology.
Teaming up with my dad, who has 40+ years of experience, we decided to rebrand as Future Energy to focus on sustainable solutions like EV chargers and solar systems. I wanted to build a business that not only provides high-quality electrical work but also helps people transition to a greener future.
