Warning Never use this company !! I recently used them to clean my carpets and they were unable to clean them blaming me because they had no Hot water. My argument was you failed to mention you need me to supply the water for your machine. I paid them anyway for trying to clean the carpets with cold water but it was a total waste of money. I asked for an invoice for the payment they said they would email me but still nothing after several phone calls and texts these guys are cowboys and robbers you have been warned!! More...

DO NOT BOOK! NOT RELIABLE, NOT PROFESSIONAL! Not a company, a joke. Were supposed to come this morning and clean my ground floor carpets. After being late more than an hour cause supposedly the “guys” were driving and no one could get hold of them (were they both driving?!) I called to see what is happening and was told that they are not going to make it today as their machine broke down (big, professional company, only has one machine?). No one one had the decency to let me know until I called, wasted my morning as I stood home waiting for them and lost money by this. Absolutely ironic on the phone, no apology or anything. Good points: Guys polite, punctual, just got on with the job. Initially the carpets seemed very clean and fresh, although over the course of a few days, I have been left with a very damp smell that lingers, despite leaving heat on and airing the property. I did contact the fresh start team regarding this I did receive a reply advising it could take 48hours, it’s now been 5 days with the smell still in the air, carpet feels tacky. So two lads turned up where both extremely polite, I asked them to do the stairs also which I can appreciate was an extra £20. 00 however after they had left and the carpets where more or less dried I noticed a few of the stains were still there, I messaged them on Facebook and sent photos to the WhatsApp number to which the message I got back was “sorry I forgot I’ll check on Monday and come back to you” I did ask at this point as I knew they couldn’t guarantee stain removal, however 5 weeks later and after a number of messages to them I still haven’t received a response. No I wouldn’t recommend fresh start, because after getting down on my hands and knees with a £3 carpet cleaner I managed to get the stains out myself. More...

Freshstart is a family run business that started over 30 years ago. We are now on the third generation of the family working for the family company.
