Meeting Dylan was a true blessing. We had persistent issues with our central heating wiring, resulting in many cold nights and repeated visits from engineers who would often replace a perfectly functioning valve multiple times. Dylan and Stefen was quick to respond to my post and started work immediately on replacing my shower enclosure and to change the water tank and flush button on the ground floor toilet.

Throughout the renovation , Dylan is very responsive and will on a daily basis keep me posted on the progress. Both of them are very hardworking and extremely knowledgeable on what they do. They have gone an extra mile to make sure that the shower enclosure is done to the highest standard.

When they were sorting out the water tank, they found out that there is a leak and they were quick to give me their valuable advice and started getting all the materials and completed the job quickly.

Dylan reacted quickly to my request, even so it was on a Saturday. It was an urgent request, because my heating was not working (problem with the boiler) and the sink in the bath room was blocked.
He called me and came shortly after my request. We agreed on a time. He was delayed because of traffic, but was good communicating the reason of the delay and arrived shortly after his last communication.
I was happy with his work. He solved both problems and had even some spare parts with him, which he could use.
I have another problem at the sink and he found the problem and we will arrange for another time for him to come and repair the other issues which needs more time and which is not urgent.

DJB plumbing aka Dylan was absolutely brilliant at my place. I've had plenty of plumbers over to the house and most leave not wanting to touch anything as nothing was mapped out or made sense. It gets very disheartening trying to find someone to help. Especially at mine after the Camden councils terrible retro fits over the years.
I think he definitely saw it as a bit of a technical challenge and got straight into marking on all the pipes and mapping out the system till we new exactly what was what.
Made some pretty substantial moves like adding in a mains cut off valve under full pressure which the building never had on individual properties as it used to be all communal. Having endured a leaky shower that had entered into the 'emergency' category thanks to a faulty concealed control unit, I commenced a frantic search via Bark as efforts to find a plumber elsewhere had failed.

Dylan from DJB Plumbing & Heating contacted me within minutes of submitting my 'help needed!' request via Bark.
Within an hour he was in my bathroom assessing the situation.
What I admired most about Dylan's assessment of the situation was that he was calm, cool, collected and incredibly proactive in providing solutions to my problem.

Ultimately, the culprit for my leak was a 3 Valve Concealed Shower Unit with multiple failing cartridges. Finding like-for-like was an impossibility as the original manufacturers of my unit were no longer trading. And, while it may have been possible to source replacement cartridges - Dylan was realistic about the timelines for this and what the outcomes might be.

He proposed a solution where we dispensed with the concealed unit in favour of a modern wall-mounted replacement. Within minutes, he was showing me examples of what options would be available via his local supplier.

A budget was discussed and agreed upon. And, as we had a towel rail radiator that also required replacing in the bathroom - we added this task to the job. Dylan took measurements of the radiator in question and provided me with replacement options.

From discussing his ETA for the next morning to the length of time the job would take - I always felt fully 'in the loop' with the whole process of this job.

Dylan was professional, tidy and extremely thorough in installing the new shower unit and radiator. He really is the embodiment of 'grace under pressure' and I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone in need of a great plumber.
