As an accredited pastoral therapist, who has undergone recovery from anxiety and addictions, my approach is primary oriented towards a combination of Twelve-Step and CRT methods. I will, however, draw flexibly on a range of therapeutic approaches, tailored to suit the client's needs and preferences.

Relationship and Marriage Counselling
My marriage was at breaking point. With difficulties communicating and issues with addiction. As a last shot of saving our marriage my husband and I decided to try counselling and thankfully we came across George, he's not only helped with our communicating and difficulties with addiction but allowed us to realise what was our core personal problems that was making things difficult within our relationship. I'm thankful that we have found the right counsellor that has time for us not only in our paid session but the pastrol care in-between is outstanding. Would highly recommend to anyone that is having difficulties More...

George has enabled me to.explore different trauma from my past and how to move forward with strength and confidence.
Through our sessions I have grown as a person and have a far greater understanding of what is not acceptable behaviour by others and to have the strength to walk away and not tolerate the same abusive behaviour as I did in my past.

George is a good therapist, he is understanding, compassionate and non- judgemental. He is friendly and always ready to reassure and encourage along the path of self-awareness.
He is a precious guide who gives support in regaining self-respect and self-confidence providing the tools to overcome blocks and personality disorders.
I would definetly recommend him to anyone who feels in a moment of distress or in search of a solid help to start deep self-analysis.

Further to my above review I'd like to add, I had been continuously begging every professional I met, in education, faith tradition, and mental health services, for a solution to my addiction, since 1978, and George was the first and only one to give me a solution.

George outreached with me when I was in the depths of my addiction. I told him I couldn't go on like this. He directed me to the relevant 12 Step program for my addiction and supported me personally for an ongoing time while I found recovery. He was very affirming and encouraging. Without his help, at that desperate time, I would probably have taken my life. I'm happy joyous and free today thanks to his care. More...

What do you love most about your job?
As a minister, I have dedicated my life to spreading the message of faith, hope, and love to all persons, especially those who feel marginalized. My spiritual journey has been deeply influenced by the teachings of the Theology of the Body in dealing with my own same-sex attraction and gender dysphoria, finding peace in loving who I am as a broken vessel. The mission of my calling is to help others who struggle with conflicting values in a deep search for self-knowledge. My role as a counselor is not to provide answers, but to enable the person to find their peace of mind and sense of worth in life.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Coming from a broken family and with a background of sex and drug addiction, I deeply understand the feeling of not being able to fit in society. I like the idea of empowering those who struggle with anger management PTSD, and any other source of distress in life, to find value in who they are and overstand standard 'status quo' expectations with their ownmental balance.
Why should our clients choose you?
I have first-hand experience in all areas of expertise indicated in the section about my services. The best university in life is one's recovery journey!
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I run a community online that my clients are free to join at no additional fee - this would be totally their own decision to make but even a further opportunity to find well-being through positive connections. Nothing is expected of anyone should they choose to explore this option. My services are only online because I work and minister on Zoom.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
My community was started during the COVID-19 pandemic as a way to seek connections during isolation. It has since expanded into a charted church and a business. While focusing on the goodness and beauty of physical connections, as our name suggests, we highly value the benefits of online connections beyond space limitations and fostering safeguarding.

Conflict Resolution vs Restorative Justice
Conflict resolution is often approached with an assumption of relative “moral balance” between parties. Restorative justice, on the other hand, is approached with the assumption of moral imbalance that has been created by a harmful act and seeks to re-balance relationships through dialogue and reparation.
Cognitive Behaviour Therapy
Counselling means different things to different people.
Some people may be interested in it because of a specific struggle, like addictions or relationships, which may be impacting on feelings, thoughts, behaviours, work, or health. Others just want help in navigating through a time of loss, change or development.
Yet, another group of people want to understand their life (past, present or future) and/or identity more clearly, to be able to explore and make choices which will eventually determine their path of life.
Are you merely trying to find a space to express yourself and be heard by another person without any judgement, pressure or agenda? This is your opportunity to explore your options with the help of a mentor, in the context of a confidential, respectful and safe environment.
