COBRA - DOES YOUR DEBTOR NEED VISITING?

The court awarded me the claim amount for a full bathroom supply installation and claimant should have paid within 14days. The company did not pay and I contacted a few solicitors and enforcement companies.

I was most impressed with Cobra who provided me
detailed guidance on the services provided, timeframe and support during recovery of debt amount. There was no pressure and after reviewing their guides I appointed them to proceed with recovery.

The entire team were extremely informative and I had great confidence in their services. The entire process was faultless and within a few weeks, the team collected the full amount and transferred funds to my account. The terrible 2 yr ordeal was over with the help of Cobra.

Thanks to Vincent and his team who within 7 days visited off instruction with Cobra (a) tracked down my debtor who traded from a PO Box address, (B) who recovered my full debt off 28k, without employing the debt recovery Goliaths i doubt very much whether we would have obtained payment as prior to the involvement of Cobra our letters emails and even begging text messages where simply ignored, message to anybody if you mess about Nationwide Scaffold for payment be assured we will give you one chance to pay and if we are ignored we will simply send Cobra to you to obtain payment and (costs) on our behalf !!!!!

When I contacted Cobra on the recommendation of my then financial advisor I was broken in business my business partner of 15 years had removed all our stock of around £170,000 worth of equipment. Amazing result truly brilliant.
After taking my debtor to court the debtor and employing High Court Officers my debtor still would not return my money
I called the Cobra and they made is so easy, they visited my debtor within 48 hours off instruction it begs the question why the bailiff did not go at 7am but lesson learnt I suppose and I suppose paying £66 for High Court officers they was never going to be highly motivated to get me paid.

I was apprehensive about using a Debt Recovery company. I must admit it was a last resort from me after over 6months of failing to recover a personal debt.
It was a very tricky debt to recover as the debtor had left his rented accommodation, and the country for a while. Cobra found it expectedly tough, and I was unsurprised that they couldn’t recover within the 3 month window. Last week I was shocked to receive a call from Leroy, a whole 8 months after first engaging Cobra to inform me that despite the extreme difficulty of the case, that he had managed to fully recovered the debt! What’s more impressive, is that they continued to chip away at the case, despite being well outside the window of engagement. As an unexpected bonus, Leroy informed me that they would waive the 15% success fee given how long it took. I cannot recommend Cobra enough. I genuinely approached them thinking that this has at best a 50% chance of success due to the evasiveness of the debtor, yet they delivered. They didn’t come back to me , even though they promised they would , approach the debater last Tuesday? I haven’t heard anything since . I’ll have to go to someone else.

Quick to respond simple procedure and not expensive

As someone who is self employed, non-payment is a huge deal for me. Like many other people when starting out, I didn't take payment of my services upfront. At first this was OK and everything was going fine... until my biggest contract didn't pay. As the days rolled by, I got nervous, I followed up with calls and emails, I heard countless promises and then nothing... no payment and they stopped responding all together. I tried reaching out in different ways just to get knocked back.

Having sacrificed a huge amount of time and energy on this full branding project I thought I'd just have to accept the loss. I read what I could about the court process but there's always a chance you could lose and be further out of pocket. While looking at other options, I found Cobra.

After an initial chat I was confident this was the way to go. I was kept informed throughout the entire process and can't fault their professionalism.

Though I trusted them, I didn't hold out much hope. Until I got a call... they'd recovered the money and I was getting paid IN FULL!

Job done, After what has felt like banging my head against a brick wall, (silence, left in the dark) I chose to get cobra finance involved after a few issues with another debtor. We did use Cobra back in 2017 and for what ever reason we went with another company this time round, far from ideal , so we returned back to what had worked for us before! The hassle and time saved was most welcome after struggling to get any way forward. Always clear with communications and updates relating to what was being done and plans of action, which ultimately resulted in Cobra securing the return of the 18k debt
