I initially considered another company to install our solar panels and battery but felt unsatisfied with their recommendations regarding the number of panels. A neighbor highly recommended C2 Renewable Solutions, and I'm so glad they did! After reaching out to C2, Scott visited our home and suggested we could easily double the number of panels initially recommended by the first company. I decided to switch to C2 at the last minute, and I have no regrets. The installation process was quick and efficient. The team was friendly, knowledgeable, and addressed a few minor issues on the second day without any hassle. 24 PV panels installed with GivEnergy All in One battery and Gateway. Great service and install from Scott, Ross and the team from initial visit through to install and commissioning. They liaised with the electricity distribution network operator (DNO) to obtain the export limit and optimally designed the system to suit. They always answer the phone, most companies in this industry do not. The staff are helpful and know what they are doing. Next minute they are on google and have a picture of your roof and determine what will fit on there . They took time to fit solar panels symmetrically so they looked better. I had all the electrical work checked out afterwards by a qualified friend who confirmed it was all done to a very high standard. All the cables had plastic trunking and it was very neat. The scaffolding was done correctly and only up for time required. The rails that the solar panels lie on, had end caps fitted, most companies do not bother with this. After a colleague's recommendation, and after reading other Google reviews, I decided on C2, and I wasn't disappointed with the work or the price. From initial contact through to handover, I can't really fault C2. Scott's survey was all about equipping me with the best fit for my house; Anabel's knowledge, understanding, patience and communications were top notch; and Courtney fired over the relevant paperwork and emails extremely efficiently. Adam and Rob the electricians worked well in the freezing temperatures, as did the two Jacks fitting the panels on the roofs. All were polite and friendly. If the panels fall off the roofs and the inverter and battery fail in the next few weeks, I might change this review, but C2 are definitely worth the five stars in my opinion👌 More...

I would highly recommend C2 Renewable Solutions. Having received a number of quotes from other supplies which felt very expensive, they were also very confusing and complicated! The team at C2 were very responsive in explaining the quotation and offered up some really good solutions which other suppliers had not suggested. We had some additional panels installed alongside a Giv Energy Battery and Inverter. We had a couple of issues with the Solar install, but these were put right by Scott and the team and I couldn't fault their service and communication. I would highly recommend. Excellent PV system and excellent service Our PV system has been up and running for a month now and is performing very well – the panels with individual optimisers, inverter and battery are well matched as a system and this meets our needs exactly. The design and planning team were very knowledgeable, producing an appropriate system for us: they planned an appropriate schedule, taking into account the timescale for DNO approval, and they kept us fully informed throughout the process. The installation team were excellent: very polite, hard working whilst on site and extremely tidy. We can highly recommend C2 Renewable Solutions. If you are considering installing a PV system, do some research before you contact potential installers. Get an idea of the size of system you require (based on your energy use, roof size and direction, etc) and, in particular, be aware that the DNO (the grid operator) will take 3 months to assess an application to install a system with an inverter of more than 3.68kW capacity. Some installers only want to provide small systems which can be installed without prior DNO approval – one told us that he would not quote for us for that reason, and we appreciated his honesty. Some other installers quoted for mismatched systems (such as a large number of panels with a small inverter, presumably to allow quick installation) or ignored the DNO timescale completely (proposing to install a large system with 8kW inverter within a month). There seems to be high demand for PV installations at the moment but, after a lot of effort, we did receive several reasonable quotations. C2 Renewable Solutions’ quote stood out from the others. They were keen to understand our needs and designed a system which would meet them. They were open about the timescale for DNO assessment and scheduled our installation date taking that into account. Scott even discussed how we might amend the system design if the DNO required our system to have a smaller inverter, so we could be confident that an amended system would still be worthwhile, even if it was not quite as good. (The original design was accepted by the DNO.) Their price was very competitive. C2 were professional and easy to work with, doing a great job in a time when the supply chain is challenged. Good people with integrity who give good advice. Our system was 28KW capacity and so far seems to be delivering within expectations. I would recommend them very highly as I think they are good people to work with. Communication could be very slightly better - but I think they are (rightly) busy and when you initiate the query they revert fast. They do care about service. They do good quality work and are competitively priced (they were not the cheapest) but I believe that in terms of the quality, integrity & price balance they are excellent and you will likely not find better in the South East of England. Shipment delays mean I can't comment on my batteries as they are not yet delivered/installed but in terms of the pure PV system, C2 are first class operators and good people. We had a 9.1kwh solar system installed just over a month ago, the savings already are more than I expected during a winter month. (This is on top of the exceptionally priced & quality install.) Scott and team were professional from first contact,. Liam (the electrician) was excellent and they even have an apprentice scheme helping ex-forces...Ben was very helpful and an asset. Liam took time to ensure our Zappi charger was exactly where we wanted it and the overall installation very clean and stress free. I initially wanted a battery installed but was advised to wait and see if it would be needed due to our already high energy consumption, I thought this was an honest approach as it could have been installed with cost to us but no benefit. I have already recommended to friends and family, get in quick before everybody wants it installed! PS systems of a certain size need approval from The Grid (SSE) Scott dealt with this but there is potentially a wait of 12 weeks to hear back...factor this into your plans! More...

Scott & Ross did a excellent job installing our in-roof solar panels and battery storage, done everything they said they would do on time with no issues. everything was completed with an eye to detail its all very neat and tidy and everything working well. C2 have just finished fitting Solar PV to our south facing tandem garage pitched roof. The work was carried out on time and to a very high standard. Scott explained the options available, and only sold us what was viable with the roof space available. The Iboost was fitted to our hot water tank to use any surplus power.
