What do you love most about your job?
Please learn more about me at bwrtme.com. I offer free monthly gift downloads, videos and links to a HUGE amount of information what is FAR more interesting than myself and my love for the work!
For now, know that I love my job because I can offer incredibly fast results results. What more can a therapist and a client ask for?! I'm a realist. I believe in science. I believe in God. I study relentlessly (#bookgeek) and I exhaust any and every conduit between the reptilian brain and our ability to make sense of correcting chaos within the prefrontal cortex. Above all, this therapy just works! So my deepest gratitude goes out to all of those who put a stone in my path for neurological progression at all cost.
What inspired you to start your own business?
Currently, the NHS has not included Brain Working Recursive Therapy in its arsenal of GB approved scientific, behavioural or therapeutic modalities. (*please note, the NHS is currently allowing BWRT studies to surface from within!) I cannot justify working with my clients and NOT utilise BWRT as and when necessary. Until the NHS brings BWRT under its umbrella of services (like the US, South Africa and much of Europe), I choose to remain private. I do it for you.
Why should our clients choose you?
I hope my client reviews say it all. However, Bark is telling me that I need at least 50 characters to engage you and woo you to choose BWRTme Therapy. I don't like to toot my own horn, but Bark's giving me no choice.
Listen, if you need to free yourself from fears, phobias, trauma, PTSD, depression, substance or alcohol abuse, suicidal ideation or intent, paranoia, sleeplessness, eating disorders, anxiety, and more, and you need a fast acting ingredient in your already fast acting life, please don't go on and on for months and years with talk therapies... YES, that's where we make our money, but I am making myself available for you to get in and get you back out full clad in vigor, valor and your vision for your tomorrow... I am notable for my veracity and I WILL get you there.
Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.
I see 99 percent of my clients online. However, for those clients who are unable to leave their homes and require face to face therapeutic interaction, I meet them where they need to be met. I will never discount those who suffer unnecessarily in isolation.
What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
Online psychotherapy. For all intents and purposes, all hail the internet and FaceTime capabilities!
Children through adults
I specialise in treating children, teens and young adults... they are our future leaders, parents, teachers and dare I say... therapists!! I just adore my kiddos through young adults. My joy is immense and my work completed watching their eyes brighten when the light goes on - neural healing taking place before my eyes - I am simply in awe of the power of neuroscience! I am qualified to work with all age groups and it goes without saying, I do thoroughly enjoy my adult clients. The gift here is watching years of pain melt away -a lightening of the shoulders and the world's first non-evasive, scientific face lift, pacemaker, body sculpt! Metaphorically speaking of course, although some clients would probably concur with the physical transformations!
Case Study
Case Study: **Sarah, a 28-year-old White British Woman with High Expectations and Anxiety (**name withheld)
Background:
Sarah came to therapy with extreme anxiety and social anxiety, which she attributed to the high expectations she put on herself. She had a degree in economics, a good job in a finance firm, and was also pursuing a part-time Masters degree. Sarah was known to be meticulous, detail-oriented, and a perfectionist in everything she did. She wanted to excel in her job, get the best grades in her Masters program, and have a perfect social life. However, the pressure she put on herself to achieve these goals was causing her to feel overwhelmed, anxious, and stressed.
Assessment:
During the initial session, Sarah described the extent of her anxiety and how it was affecting her daily life. She was constantly worried about her performance at work and in her studies, and was often plagued with negative thoughts and feelings of self-doubt. Her social anxiety was also a major concern, as she found it difficult to socialize with her colleagues and make new friends. Sarah's anxiety was so severe that she had stopped attending social events altogether and had become increasingly isolated.
Treatment:
After discussing various treatment options, Sarah decided to try BWRT (BrainWorking Recursive Therapy). BWRT is a type of therapy that aims to change the way the brain responds to stimuli, helping clients to break negative thought patterns and behaviors. In Sarah's case, the aim was to reduce her anxiety levels by changing the way she processed her thoughts and emotions.
The therapist began by explaining the BWRT process to Sarah and asking her to identify specific situations that triggered her anxiety. Sarah identified a number of situations, including attending social events, public speaking, and receiving feedback from her boss. Using BWRT, the therapist helped Sarah to change her thought patterns and emotional responses to these situations. The therapist used a range of techniques, including anchoring and fast phobia cure, to help Sarah overcome her anxiety.
Outcome:
Sarah responded well to BWRT and noticed a significant improvement in her anxiety levels after just a few sessions. She reported feeling more relaxed and less stressed, and was able to attend social events and engage in small talk with her colleagues. Sarah also felt more confident in her abilities at work and was able to manage her workload more effectively. She completed her Masters degree with a good grade and was able to find a better work-life balance. Overall, Sarah felt more in control of her life and was able to enjoy socializing and pursuing her interests without feeling overwhelmed.
Conclusion:
BWRT can be an effective therapy for clients struggling with anxiety and high expectations. By changing the way the brain processes stimuli, clients can break negative thought patterns and behaviors and learn to manage their anxiety more effectively. Sarah's case illustrates the potential benefits of BWRT in helping clients overcome anxiety and achieve a better quality of life.
