Had Bonnie Scotland out today to remove an uprooted tree since storm Eowyn. They took their time to remove it and didn’t cause any further damage. Outstanding service at such short notice to remove fallen tree on my conservatory. No further damage was caused and the remainder of the tree was safely dismantled, was a treat to watch as we hadn’t seen anyone do it before. Glad I never attempted it!

I had a huge tree bigger than my house come down it completely covered my back garden. Bonnie Scotland arrived within a hour and removed it. Gino Improta, from Bonnie Scotland Tree Surgery and Hedge Trimming, made a site visit to provide a quote for cutting down, clearing and disposing of trees and bushes which had become overgrown in our elderly brother’s garden.
Mr Improta failed to show for the second site visit, but on the telephone agreed the price, said the job would take 5 days and that they would start the next morning.
However, they did not appear until the afternoon.
The following day, Mr Improta announced that he had put extra men on the job and would now finish it that day. Alarm bells rang when some of his extra men asked if we had basic equipment, like rakes, that they could use.
Mr Improta promised to remove all the cut-down material, as per the quote, and asked to be paid by bank transfer into his personal account. We said we were happy with the job he was doing and agreed.
Unfortunately, the payment was made the following morning after Mr Improta had called asking for his money, and before we had the opportunity to check that all of the work had, indeed, been done, as he assured us it had.
When the site was inspected, it was obvious a serious amount of cut-down material had been left on the ground.
When we contacted Mr Improta to ask when this would be removed, he initially said he would remove one builder’s bag of material, but didn’t have room to take any more.
He was reminded that he had quoted for full removal, and at this point he replied that he would not now be removing the already-full bag, or any of the material which we had raked up into very large piles.
He will not respond to our phone calls or emails, and refuses to provide a receipt for the payment he received.
One of the main reasons we had been persuaded to hire Mr Improta’s company was because he displayed a Scottish Environment Protection Agency licence on all of his advertising. However, we have since checked with SEPA who informed us they have no record of a licence either in the name of Mr Improta or his business, and that they would be contacting him about him displaying such a licence.
We consider Bonnie Scotland Tree Surgery and Hedge Trimming to be unprofessional and untrustworthy and would recommend that they be avoided. More...

Hello Ronnie & Brian Fraser, We were hired to complete a removal of a heavily overgrown garden that had been left for over 10 years. It was over grown with all sort of brambles shrubs and trees. We had an agreed price g iven so competitively since your oldest brother suffered from dementia and his garden being so neglected made him sad. We felt a moral obligation to help. An entire clearance was completed with our projected time scale of 2 days. Upon completion you’re brother who we initially met came to assess the work (front & back) he confirmed with myself and many of my colleagues how satisfied he was with the work and that the garden was now much larger. He praised our company. Approximately a fortnight later you had the audacity to contact us with a threatening tone demanding we return to finish the job. Despite everything being cut to below 1 inch above the ground. Let me make you aware of 3 very important factors mr Fraser: 1. We don’t tolerate any abuse verbally physically or sexually for that matter to any member of staff. 2. Our team provide bespoke solutions to clients all over Scotland and every single time without fail we ask on completion if they are happy and satisfied before we leave,hence why we have an abundance of positive reviews. 3. We don’t take kindly to people who make fraudulent claims re regarding our reputation. We are fully insured and licensed arborists who trained with leading industry standard professionals. On a final note, I would usually offer my apologies in any instance of work competed that hasn’t met our clients expectations and rectify it immediately ahead of any future bookings, but on this occasion dealing with someone who makes derogatory and sexually suggestive remarks to female staff within our company aren’t met with such grace.

Good communication. Arrived when agreed. Work was carried out safely and quickly. Very professional and tidy. Would never know they had been except for the fact that my favourite tree has gone. Very friendly people.

Fantastic company Gino was suberb within 30 mins of my post on Bark he'd been in touch and made his way to my dad's garden to have a look and get a quote together it was a huge job both front and back been neglected for years with overgrown bushes and shrubs and some huge trees in the back we agreed a very reasonable price and his team came on Tuesday and cleared the lot very professional outfit with all the proper tools and equipment I would highly recommend Gino and Bonnie Scotland Tree Surgery all my dad's neighbours are relieved the jungle has gone 😀

Great service and a very professional job

Used Bark to find tree cutters and Bonnie Scotland quickly responded. They were over to see the job within the hour. Gino and his team were extremely friendly and very professional. Liked that they wore their names on their shirts and company logo on back. Job was quickly carried to my exact requirements and they also disposed of the debris. Price was fare. Bonnie Scotland were the first company to contact me from Bark. They requested photos of the trees needing attention and immediately provided a rough estimate for tree lopping and leylandii hedge trimming. They then visited and provided a firm quotation the next day.
They carried out the work in dreadfully heavy rain but did a very efficient and tidy job. They are very nice people to deal with and I would highly recommend them. Gino is going to come back to do some tree carving on the remaining tree stump. More...

I had an amazing experience with “Bonnie Scotland tree surgery & Landscaping “
I was having two BIG trees shaped and 4ft off a very large & deep hedge, along with other shrubs that had got out of control cut back.
The work was to be carried out in one day but the 2 BIG TREES ended up being rotten near the bases,so they both had to be totally cut down .
So it ended up being a huge job .
It took till late in the evening to cut them down and remove Ton of weights of trees.
They did this with skill and good humour.
Gino& Faith Tidied everything away that evening.
Then they came back the next day worked their socks off, another late evening and completed all the work.
It all looks fabulous, they cleared every leaf away .😀I’m so very please and I am writing a long review to thank Gino & Faith for a brilliant job ! I will be having them again and highly recommended them . More...

Gino and his young lady carried out work at my mum's for the past 4 days. We had 13 very large conifers, which were over 70 ft high to clear from the bottom of her garden and they did an excellant job. The last 2 days another gentleman joined to help and they worked relentlessly to clear the garden and leave the area and the surrounding area over the garden in a better than it started.
