Highly recommend Asma. We had great customer service experience. Initially we had kitchen designing done by Wren, IKEA, IDC etc but something was missing and then a friend recommended we should try Asma. So glad we went to her. In our initial design & purchase stage in January I had to suddenly travel overseas and they continued to help & advise us through phone calls to meet our deadlines. Detailed kitchen design prints were given so that the builder could get things ready accordingly. There was a delay in delivery & installation due to COVID19 but they kept us updated regularly and always replied to our queries even during lockdown. Once lockdown opened we had our kitchen installed ASAP by Alan single handedly, amazing installer. There were issues with the worktop stone and Asma made sure things got sorted with and new stone was put in by the stone company. I love my new black & white kitchen. In our whole renovations saga she has been the best to work with, friendly and totally professional ! Thank you Asma for always being there for us through this stressful time. More...

What’s your interior design process?
The first stage is 'Design Preparation and Briefing' which provides the client with a dimensioned floor plan of the chosen space, interior design style & colour options to understand and select, project brief, mood & inspiration boards. The client can then either research their own suppliers or let me do it. The process can end here if the client feels confident enough otherwise I can be involved in design meetings to assess proposals and provide my own layout options (consultative approach). The chosen layout can be drawn up on 3D modelling software along with products from other suppliers in order to visualise all elements in one space.

What inspired you to start your own business?
I was inspired to start my own business due to the desire of individuals to become actively involved in the creative process of their home renovation project but still have impartial expert advice which is affordable.

I choose only a handful of projects to take on so I can ensure a high quality service. I am calm, collected and diligent when it comes to all stages of the job.

I provide hand sanitiser, masks and a conscious awareness of maintaining limited physical contact.
Design Preparation and Briefing
The first stage is to understand who you are and what you want in a simple and structured format which can easily be communicated with suppliers and retailers to ensure efficiency and consistency in delivering the project brief.
Dimensioned floor plan - to make it easier for other design professionals to understand the size of a specific space and ensure consistency in dimensions. This will be cross-checked by your architect/builder before progressing.
*Please note that changes to room plans are chargeable
Interior design style and colour selection - you will be guided through styles and colours with the aid of a colour wheel so you can first learn about the options available before venturing into making creative choices.
Project brief - you will be asked a set of questions to better understand the overall project requirements.
Mood board - this combines all information and visually presents the mood you wish to create in a room.

Inspiration board - this is a more thoughtful display of inspiring images collected by both the client and designer to create a final look and feel.
*These images will not reference the source of each item.
Product supplier research and selection
Mid to high end suppliers and retailers will be recommended based on the above information. Appointments can be made on your behalf.
*The appointed showroom designer will have been carefully selected for you.
