This was a tricky job with access restrictions. The job speck was the removal of x 2 wooden fence which had rotted below ground. The fence posts were surrounded in a concrete sleeve which was fixed by concrete and access was restricted due to a later conservatory being erected near the fence as well as a concrete path which abutted the neighbours property. This severely restricted access and meant that the only option was to drill down and remove the rotted wood by had due to the restrictive concrete sleeves. Despite these challenges Shane and his colleague were able to remove all of the old rotted post without the need to dig up the concrete sleeves which took them over 3hrs. They also damaged and blunted several drill heads as well due to metsl nails which had been used in when the fence was erected over 15yrs ago . The alternative would have been a very big and expensive job which we were reluctant to take. Throughout the consultation they kept us informed of the options and explained the positives as well as the negatives in a clear and straight forward way which helped us understand the challenges and possible out comes. After 4 hrs of hard laborious work they were able to remove all of the old rotten wooden post and replace with new posts. They are clean and tidy and responded within mintues of me posting the job and were able to attend the following day. I had contacted several companies over the past e weeks often with no reply or just didn't turn up. Alpine are keen helpful and experienced and take the time to explain your options as well as texting when they are running late. They provide a detailed receipt as well as a card which details all the jobs they can do. I would definitely recommend these guys. More...
