Affordable Care at Home do a great job. The Manager Shanice is very good. They always check in and no ask is too big, we recently had to extend dads hours as he had a fall, the hospital to home care has been outstanding, they have provided extra hours of support in a short turn around. We’re satisfied!

Astonishing care! Having to juggle working full time and caring for my husband has been increasingly difficult following his second diagnosis.
I was reluctant to bring in carers, for fear of the quality of care and the consistency.
My fears were eradicated the moment they did the care assessment. We've been supported for 3 months now and I am so pleased with the care and support.

We have been receiving domiciliary care from affordable care at home since January 2024, our mother suffers from Alzheimers and incontinence.
They are a local and affordable service. The carers have been consistent since Jan, same friendly faces, its two of them (L&K).
They are great with mom, very patient and understanding. Professional when assisting with her mobility and sensitive when offering personal care. Whenever we've asked for any changes, the manager is brilliant (Shanics).

We have been using Affordable Care at Home for several months now and our experience has been a very good one. All carers have been excellent, but they try not to swap around too much which is good for the patient. They keep a written log book of daily events for all to read and have been flexible in adapting to changing patient needs. Any matter we raise always gets responded to and never ignored. What do you love most about your job?
Here at ACAH, we love making a positive difference in the lives of the service users we support and building meaningful connections. One of our support workers said her favourite thing is providing companionship and emotional support to clients, especially those who may be lonely or isolated - it’s gratifying. In addition to hearing clients' life stories and learning from their experiences it’s enriching!
What inspired you to start your own business?
The Director says he values providing relief and support to families who are caring for loved ones at home while being an integral part of the community by helping those in need.
At ACAH, we also value the Emotional Rewards, recieving gratitude and appreciation from clients and their families is not just rewarding; it's inspiring. It gives many of us a profound sense of purpose and fulfilment from helping others meaningfully.
Why should our clients choose you?
Our philosophy is simple: if it's not good enough for our own family, it's not good enough for you. Our clients are our top priority, and we take their care very seriously. Our support workers treat them with the same care and respect they would give to their own parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, siblings, and children. We truly care.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?
By ensuring that all staff members are vaccinated and providing hand sanitisers at the entrance and exit points, we can help reduce the risk of spreading illness. It is important to encourage both customers and staff to make use of these hand sanitizers. Additionally, it's crucial to provide hand washing facilities or hand sanitizers for staff to use when assisting customers and at regular intervals throughout the day. This will help maintain a clean and safe environment for everyone.
