Heather Davidson is an acupuncturist based in Oxford. Traditional acupuncture is a tried and tested healthcare system which has been used in the East for nearly two thousand of years. It is a positive model of good health that sees pain and illness as signs that the body is out of balance. The aim of acupuncture treatment is to restore, promote and maintain good health by restoring the body's equilibrium.

Sandy is a fantastic professional. After two years of seeing a wide range of NHS and physiotherapy consultants about my 15 year old daughter's chronic and debilitating back /gynae pain, Sandy Steele has pretty much sorted out her after seven months of treatment. The difference in happiness, mood, optimism about the future is incredible.I cannot recommend Sandy enough. She is a highly professional person who took great care and attention to understand my daughter and the complex issues. She explained to us the holistic approach of acupuncture and worked slowly over weeks to gain my daughter's trust and confidence which she did.I have always felt confident that Sandy is working totally in my daughter's best interest and we have never felt strung along. Sandy has gradually decreased and now completed the sessions as she sees necessary.I know have a happy daughter back who can engage in every aspect of teenage life again, whereas the before the pain had become socially as well as physically constraining.Thank you Sandy!

I chose to see Ben for acupuncture because I have seen him for very successful trigger point massages in the past, and as it turns out he is just at good with needles as he is with his hands! In only my first session he resolved a shoulder complaint I had had for almost 3 months. During the treatment I went from having pain and low mobility in my right shoulder (I could not comfortably lift my arm to the side more than about 30-40 degrees) to having very little pain and improved mobility. Things were even better the next day (as Ben predicted) when the pain had gone and my mobility completely returned (I can now easily lift my arm above 90 degrees and all over the place). All that I feel I need to do now is some physio to rebuild some strength after not using the shoulder for so long. I will certainly be seeing Ben for future treatments. And it is a bonus that his his price is super affordable!
