From the moment Karen visited us to discuss our Canapé requirements, to the day of our Extension Warming Party come Birthday Party, Karen provided an A1 service.

OUTSTANDING ON ALL LEVELS
Karen certainly has found a great niche in the catering market. I had been hunting high and low for a caterer for a summer cocktail party.
Someone who would be flexible in their thinking and ensure quality canapes for a discerning group of 120 guests at a reasonable price.
I say flexible, as the event was being held in an outdoor location with limited preparation space, one very small oven with a forecast for heavy rain.
Karen quickly assimilated the wonderful but unique surroundings and quickly came up with a great selection, of what turned out to be, out of this world canapes. We had endless compliments from guests.
Moreover, Karen was delightful to work with and highly professional from beginning to end. She was efficient and unflappable at all times as were her staff.
I cannot recommend The Canape Kitchen enough and would not hesitate to use Karen and her team again.

What’s your signature dish?
My favourite is a litle crispy bread croustade filled with creamy mayonnaise, half a quails egg and topped with crispy bacon and chives. It looks so cute and tastes delicious. Simple - yet stylish
How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
We talk to them about the style and tone of their event, and see if there are any particular types of food they love. We then suggest a menu to suit both. Sometimes we will invent a new Canapé just for them if there is something they particularly love.
What do you love most about your job?
The Mmmmms and aahhhs when people taste our Canapés. The non verbal reactions say more than a thousand words.
What inspired you to start your own business?
I just love creating and making Canapés. I love the attention to detail. Beautiful looking food that tastes delicious.
Why should our clients choose you?
Canapés - its all we do. We aren't an add on or an extra to a catering package. And we are very reasonably priced. We are very friendly and extremely down to earth to work with. We want our food to make your event special.

We can offer full service where we prep the Canapés on site and serve them to your guests throughout your party or event, or we can deliver and lay them out buffet style for a more informal event.
We can also serve and top up drinks if you would like us to.
