Highly recommend SG Tree services. Used them for felling some trees and also remedial works on remaining trees this week. Good team led by the owner Steve and they left the garden tidier and cleaner than when they arrived. First class!

It was four years ago that we first used SG Tree Services to remove a number of trees around the house. Had no problem asking then again to remove further trees along a boundary with an adjacent property. Steve responded quickly to our initial contact and whilst we knew which trees we wanted removed there were concerns with a number of others. Steve walked round the property and looked at the trees and gave advice on their condition which was very helpful.
SG removed a section of overgrown leylandii hedging which has simply got out of hand and two further trees one behind the greenhouse and one close to the main road. All were removed professionally without any issues. We were particularly concerned about the one behind the greenhouse but all done without any damage to the greenhouse. All the smaller branches were chipped and remove off site whilst the larger branches and trunks were cut into manageable sections for us the cut down further for firewood for the wood burner. Everything was left clean and tidy. Got SG Tree Services back to grind out the stumps to allow a new fence to be erected along the boundary. I would certainly recommend them and would have no hesitation in getting them back for any future tree pruning or removal works. More...

SG Tree Service removed my two huge beach stumps today. The service was great from start to finish. Stevie was very knowledgeable in his field of work and charged a very fair price - it fairly helps to have the right tool for the job! Steve and his Team get a big thumbs up! Attention to detail of what my parents wanted, safety was paramount, well planned an executed job! Went over and above, even cutting Douglas Fir lengthways to make garden benches, site left clean and safe. I would have them back anytime for further works. SG Tree Services were asked to take down a tree overhanging a large shed. They arrived when they said they would and set about the project in a safe and professional manner, their equipment was ideal for the task and well maintained including climbing harnesses and all other safety gear. Stephen is so very professional During the stormy weather last month one of our tall fir trees blew partially down When I phoned Stephen and explained what had happened he said he would be there later that day.
