My stubborn little Shih Tzu pup just graduated from Sabina's puppy class and we both learnt so much! the classes were engaging, fun and having homework each week encouraged us to spend time between classes bonding with our little companion, and set us up with ideas for years to come. My 5 month old miniature labradoodle graduated from Sabina's puppy training classes yesterday. The 6 week course with follow up weekly e-mails to help clarify the training have been invaluble to me as a new puppy owner. Sabina's continued advice and support has been fantastic. We would recommend sabina to everyone. She has helped us with rebel so much with so many issues (these started after being given bad advice from someone who said they trained puppies after he had two youngish labs try to play but we're too in his face and petrified him) He became a very nervous puppy who was scared of dogs, people, bikes,noises basically anything with wheels or moved. Sabina has taught us how to give him confidence in himself and us with many different ways to help him feel safe. We have had 8 one to one sessions and he has come on so much. He still is nervous but not as much. The best bit is the skills and knowledge she gives you to be able to help our puppy ourselves when out and about or at home. Absolutely fantastic! I attended a play workshop with Craig Ogilvie hosted by K9 Connections, they created a relaxed welcoming atmosphere with loads of space perfect for learning for both myself and Henry. Learnt loads, had fun and took away things to work on. Most importantly for me and Henry we were made to feel really welcome and everyone was understanding of his need to have space. We take Oscar our Springer to one of the Saturday classes. I came to Sabina because our previous trainer was pushing me to a training style I wasn't comfortable with. These classes are fabulous it's a fun relaxed atmosphere, working on training a pet dog, Sabina takes the time to get to know each dog and owner(s) so she can focus the training to everyone's needs. 4 of the 6 puppy classes done and we are loving it. It's really helping my pup to focus around distractions and teaching me so much about my communication cues. My puppy was so at ease with the trainer.Liked the way the trainer worked no nastiness or aggression towards my puppy, only used positive behaviour and rewarded my puppy for it. She was so gentle with her it was a pleasure to have her in my home for one to one.We are starting classes this Friday were there will be other dogs for my puppy to interact.Thankyou for putting me in touch with Sabina. Good advice given as to how to train my dog to my requirements. Option given to carry on training myself or to
contact her again for another session. Very pleasant and polite trainer.
