I never thought I would take to a gym as quickly and as confidently as I have with Fitology Hub, having never been a gym person, but since joining a few months ago I haven't looked back! The owner and all the trainers have done a fantastic job at creating a warm, welcoming space that is not intimidating, pretentious or overwhelming. The classes are small and targeted, so I always feel like my needs are being met. It also creates a friendly and relaxed atmosphere amongst everyone there - no egos here! The support you receive to make sure you're getting what you want out of every session has been the best I've experienced so far and you're really encouraged to keep trying and improving yourself, no matter how big or small that may be. I have been a member of the Fitology Hub since August 2017, initially for personal training sessions and then incorporated monthly classes from last year and I am extremely impressed by the level of service, training and support received there. I have lower back pain and initially was a bit nervous about embarking on a strength and weight fitness plan, but the excellent trainers have helped educate me on the importance of core weight strength training for overall core and back health and I’ve never looked back. The trainers at FH, are highly knowledgable in their field and are incredibly supportive and encouraging when working with their clients and I have definitely noticed a great improvement in my core strength and stability which is so important for good back health. It has given me confidence in my ability on the gym floor and I would thoroughly recommended the Fitology Hub to anyone who is considering strength weight training, returning to exercise after injury or poor health or just to improve their overall health and fitness goals. I can confidently say it is life changing. It's just not like any other gym. No mirrors, no rows of impersonal cardio machines, everything happens though personal and heartfelt attention. The trainers are all outstanding, all very different women, and they each bring such high levels of expertise in their own specialisms. They all know your name and your strengths and weaknesses, and how to motivate you. I really appreciate the strong understanding and emphasis on the important role exercise and healthy eating plays in maintaining mental health. Really individualised and supportive female gym. I started with personal training sessions almost 2 years ago as after 2 kids I felt really unfit and unconfident about doing exercise. I then had a surprise 3rd pregnancy and really benefited from tailored pre natal PT so I was still training in my 38th week. 6 weeks post-birth I am now doing postnatal focussed activities for building up core strength and fitness. My baby comes too. During holidays my 2 older girls love joining in as I bring them along.I have really enjoyed doing weights and creative routines that all the Personal Trainers do. I cannot speak highly enough of Fitology Hub in Brockley.I came in with severe osteoarthritis in my knees, I could barely do a squat and although I had always been relatively active the knee issues had been affecting my ability to exercise. 6 months later and I am one stone lighter, so much fitter and my knees are thanking me for coming here. I had never lifted weights until I came here and suddenly I realise I can!I particularly like the fact it is women only. It’s a great atmosphere. programmes are tailored to your needs and all the trainers are professional and approachable.Big thanks from me to Suzanne and the team, I’m doing things I never thought I could do and loving it.It’s money well spent and with the attention to detail in the sessions you start to understand your own body much more and how you can adapt exercises to work within your abilities.If you make the decision to come here you will not be disappointed More...

I have been attending Fitology Hub for nearly 18 months, since I decided my post kids body needed sorting out! I have 4 PT sessions a month and have also recently started attending the “stronger for longer” class at weekends. My PT sessions are different every week which keeps it interesting, but usually working towards improving a certain area for a couple of months before moving on to a different area of the body. I’ve never really done weights before, but the improvement in my core strength is amazing. My posture has improved loads and so has my body confidence. The workouts are challenging and varied, and all the trainers are great, they put a lot of planning and expertise into the sessions and are supportive, encouraging and knowledgable. I’ve been training at Fitology Hub for over a year - I am much stronger, healthier and confident. This is the only gym membership that I’ve consistently used - as the environment, quality of classes and training is on a different level to the likes of Pure Gym etc. The gym is female only, and focuses on building strength and confidence within a supportive and unpretentious atmosphere. The personal trainers are all excellent and classes are small so you get lots of 1:1 help to learn and improve on techniques. The classes are suitable for any level but will push you hard to improve. The package i’m on currently is 2 classes per week and 2 x 30 mins of PT a month. I’d recommend this package because you get the benefit of a variety of classes mixed in with 1:1 training which can focus on learning techniques, nutrition and working with injuries. Stumbled over Fitology when I desperately needed a kickstart and wanted to try out personal training. Already after the first session I felt more energised than I had felt all year, physically and mentally. After a few months of weekly personal training I can say that joining Fitology was the best decision I made in a long time. I learned so much about my body and how to work out effectively, and I was impressed with how quickly the coaches picked up on individual weaknesses and characteristics and then tailored the sessions accordingly. I started fitology hub about five months after giving birth to my daughter. A bit apprehensive at first due to the lack of recent exercise and a very wobbly body I was soon put at ease. Suzanne was incredibly supportive and helped me get into my groove. She teaches great technique and comes up with new and challenging exercises each week. Being able to take our babies to the class was brilliant as meant no childcare or crèche needed. This class has been the difference between not being able to sit up in bed - and helping a man up stairs with his suitcase! And all in less than a year after childbirth. Suz, even if she has loads of people will manage to make you feel as if she's training you personally - making little adjustments, pushing you, teaching, encouraging and setting targets - while picking up a crying baby and making sure everyone's happy. A HUGE thank you to Suzanne at Fitology Hub. After suffering from a full thickness tear to my acl and a torn meniscus in my right knee I decided to go to Fitology Hub to start some strength exercises, with my main goal being able to get through my Camogie league with a little less pain and hopefully pushing out my surgery until my championship was finished. Suzanne, so processionally researched and looked into my injuries in order to prevent and further damage or injury being done to my knee. Last year, whilst continuing to play, my knee would give away under me and I was never without pain as it was so weak and unstable. Since starting to train with Suzanne, that giving away and going from under me has stopped, the pain is minor and my legs are so much stronger. Three months ago, my surgeon and I spoke about surgery and he advised me that surgery was necessary if I wanted to continue playing sports and to avoid any further damage occurring. Two weeks ago, I spoke with my surgeon again and he advised me that surgery could be postponed as I had somehow managed to build so much muscle around my knee. Suzanne's professional, knowledge and commitment to her clients provides the perfect scenario. She is skilled, thoughtful and so sensible and most importantly she embodies change. I am so happy that I can continue to train with Suzanne and play camogie without the worry of surgery and being out of training and playing the sport I love! Suzanne focused on both my strengths and weaknesses to help me improve and build. My strength, fitness and confidence has all improved and I have been able to play all season without any issue and fortunately I now get to play in the All Britain Camogie final this weekend. I’m a complete beginner when it comes to fitness and had never tried personal training before Fitology Hub. I’ve been going there for about 2 months and have really enjoyed it. Suzanne and Lemy are friendly, knowledgeable and are great at figuring out what’s going to work for you, already I feel like I have more energy and am getting stronger. Initially I was a bit apprehensive of what it was going to be like but I got a free taster session before starting (not sure if that’s standard) and personally I find the small gym environment suits me. I have been training at Fitology Hub for the past 3 months and I completely love it. I initially signed up to get me ready for a 300 mile bike ride but I've continued as Suzanne has got me into better shape than I think I have ever been. The mix of PT and group training is great as is the opportunity to do cycle and run training sessions too! I've had a longstanding issue with my right hip and knee which has almost completely disappeared and I've woken up muscles that haven't worked for years. I can't recommend Fitology Hub highly enough. I started training with Fitology Hub in May and was pretty nervous as I hadn't exercised properly in a very long time. I shouldn't have worried as the warm and welcoming ethos of Fitology Hub meant that I enjoyed my new regime from day one. My fitness levels are totally different now. Fitology hub helped me regain my health in a safe and fun way.
