Hi James, Thank you for your feedback Your TV requires a Video board. This part is no longer in production from LG, so we looked for used and refurbished parts for your TV but it is not available for your model either. We do not control part manufacturing and thus are unable to support any further on your repair job. In relation to your callout fee being asked to be refunded, our staff was correct to advise that it is not refundable. This is the cost of our service of callout, any diagnosis and attempted repair and the return of your TV. This cost to you also comprises of the cost we incur in running the business including staff wage, insurances, fuel, our time, and other expenses. We like any other business have to charge our customer to operate and use our resources to serve them. Unfortunately, these resources come at a cost which is shared among us and our customers. We like any other business cannot provide a free service where we incur the cost of the operations. That way there is no point in having a business altogether. You have paid for a callout service that includes collection of your TV, any possible and simple repair and delivery. If parts are required or any labour that exceeds this fee and you decide to proceed with the quote then your callout fee also becomes part of the total balance. If you decide at any stage you do not wish to proceed OR if the parts are no longer available, then we can return the set to you or send it for safe disposal but our cost to you (callout fee) is not refundable unfortunately. We appreciate that this is not the information you were intending to receive but our refund policy and terms of service are displayed on our website for all customers to read. We understand from the call log that Hamad was the call handler and he has advised that the discussion leaned towards what you felt after you started to behave condescendingly towards our staff. We are sorry you feel that way about our service and have not been left satisfied. We will look into how it can be improved.
