Brian came and cooked for us at our home on New Year’s Eve. He was friendly and very professional. He got himself set up in our kitchen in no time, and served some brilliant food. We had discussed the menu at length prior to our dinner party and I was so pleased with the choices. Brian catered for 4 children and 15 adults, with a mix of meat, veggie and vegan options. We had 3 courses and they were absolutely delicious. Everyone loved the food. Brian set us up with a cheeseboard which was also amazing. The whole experience was great start to finish. Brian and his team were exceptional. Not often you go to a wedding and you come away raving about the food, but every single one of our guests did, and still are to this day! The menu choice and selection Brian gave us to choose from was incredible and we knew from the moment we met him during his visit to our empty shed he was going to deliver. To create the most beautiful food in a farm shed turned into a Wedding barn for the day, no job was too big or small for Brian and his team from start to finish. We had a selection of amazing food cooked to perfection from hot and cold canapes, four choices of main and a vegetarian option followed by three dessert options and mouth watering pies and sausage rolls for evening food. With so much delicious food our guests were even able to go up for second helpings which is always a bonus! Brian also kindly organised all of our cater hire which was great as it also meant we had less suppliers to deal with and Brian had it all organised and in hand. Brian did the catering for our wedding in November 2021. We reached out to him in the summer of 2020, and from the start he was absolutely fantastic. He was extremely accommodating with our ideas and throughout the process, he highlighted any practical issues we were not aware of. On the day, him and his team were absolutely fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious - I still can't get over how perfectly cooked the salmon was, and his lemon posset is the best I've ever tasted. I cannot recommend BIEN catering enough. Brian catered for us the weekend of our wedding when we had family staying. The food was absolutely incredible and everyone commented how delicious every meal was. The selections and different menus on offer were fabulous and catered for every taste and requirement. We got the food for our Christmas meal from Brian and it was outstanding; really good portion sizes and the quality was superb.
It took a lot of stress away from the cooking of the meal and was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. I would highly recommend him.

What a nice guy. Brian sorted the catering for my 50th birthday party and what a spread! Fabulous comments about the food from my guests and they all ate heartily. The menu was chorizo and chicken paella (my favourite), lasagne (completely finished), red Thai curry (bloomin' awesome) with sticky toffee pudding and pavlova to finish. The food was top class. How do you go about creating the perfect menu for your clients?
I like to meet face to face with my clients to discuss what it is that they are looking for I then go away and create a menu based on what they are looking for
What do you love most about your job?
Being a chef .
Every day I get to be creative and I am as passionate about food as I was 30 years ago .
Even after spending 10 hours in the kitchen I still come home and cook the family tea .
What inspired you to start your own business?
I started BIEN Catering after being frustrated by employers that where more focused on the money and expected me to comprise on the quality .
