What do you love most about your job?

I get to be the "people" guru within all the companies and people I work with. I get to focus on people and teams within an organization and in doing so I get to make lives easier/better.

What inspired you to start your own business?

Working for a large global company was everything I thought I wanted. I was making healthy 6 figures, helping take a company public, and had checked all of the corporate ladder climbing boxes. I was also stressed and had little-to-no time for my two young daughters or any pursuits outside of work. Worst of all, I didn't know who I was benefitting or what kind of mark I was leaving on the world. Shareholders and company owners loved me, our revenue was increasing in leaps and bounds every year, and yet, in the quite private moments when I was alone and honest with myself I didn't care. I asked myself: when my daughter get's married in 20 years, do I want the stories about me to be about how good I was at managing a bottom line, or budgeting, or managing inventory? Or do I want people to look my daughter in the eyes and be able to tell stories about how her dad helped fix their relationship, or helped them leave a toxic job, or helped them navigate a difficult change in their personal life. I decided I wanted to be known as a person who helps people. I walked away from my role Chief Operating Officer to join the team at Board Developer I haven't looked back.

Why should our clients choose you?

In my opinion you shouldn't choose me or any coach based solely off reading a profile or visiting a website. You should take some time to sit down and have a conversation to decide if my energy, attitude, beliefs, perspective, and personality feel like a good fit for you and your unique situation. While I think I'm a great coach (my clients would all agree) I may not be the right coach for you. If you're looking to be pushed, to make intentional and lasting change, and to do the often time uncomfortable work, then lets jump on a free consultation call and see if we're a fit.

Can you provide your services online or remotely? If so, please add details.

I meet with clients both online and remotely. The majority (80%) of my clients work with me remotely due to where they live, I'm very comfortable working both ways.

What changes have you made to keep your customers safe from Covid-19?

I closely follow CDC guidelines and keep an eye on the rise and fall of Covid cases in my area (I serve on a COVID and mental health tasks-force), when cases are on the rise, or clients feel the need for social distance switching to Zoom is an easy and effective option.
