Affordable Counseling Services is an online portal that provides direct-to-consumer access to mental health services. The online counseling and therapy services are provided through web-based interaction as well as phone and text communication usually about 45 minute sessions. What sets us apart is that we are affordable and we are here to make a better you. We do not accept Insurance because its only $25 a session.

I believe that at the core of therapy is a relationship between the therapist and the patient. To establish this bond, an authentic connection must be established. In my view, a therapist's character is just as crucial as their education. Clients often find me approachable and engaged, with a sincere desire to hear their story. My aim is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients receive unconditional positive regards and feel empowered to express themselves.

No one form of therapy fits everyone. We all have our own unique needs and personalities. I get to know the people I am working with so that we can co-create a plan that is right for them. No matter what style or methods used, I am always active and engaged. Once we understand where our behaviors come from, we can often gain better control over them or modify them if desired. I then work with clients by drawing from modalities known as behavioral therapies (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Rational Emotive Behavioral Therapy), Narrative Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, just to name a few.
