I LOVE THIS PLACE!This review won't even do it justice to express how much I love coming to Catalyst Fitness. Part of me doesn't even want to write this review because I don't want let the secret out, but I'd be doing Spokanites a disservice if I didn't.I've done spin classes, step classes, barre classes, crossfit, etc., and nothing has fit me better than Catalyst's small group training class. The max amount of people is 8, so it fits my comfort zone, perfectly. I get that 1:1 attention from the trainer without having to go to personal training. However, I mix that in, too. Last year, I let myself go, and I needed a place to get me back on track. THIS is that place! Â The icing on the cake is that Matt, and the other trainers are so welcoming and friendly. Plus, they give me free chilled water and towels, and I can use their cardio equipment anytime. WIN!If you're tired of big workout classes, but still want that 1:1 attention from a trainer - this is the class for you. I am SO glad that I took that first step to get a consultation. They've changed my life for the better, and I hope (from this review) others take advantage of that. You're really missing out if you don't.

Awesome gym. I’ll change this review to 5 stars as soon as their weekend hours become a little more friendly, but closing at 7 Saturday AND Sunday is a bummer. Otherwise, the owners are fantastic and the sheer volume of equipment makes this one of the best workout options in the city!EDIT: I said this review would be made five stars once they expanded their hours. And today they did. As promised- five stars and a strong recommendation for others (especially those interested in free weights) for this gym.

I like to make my own rules and not be bogged down by somebody else's perception of what should be done. I want the freedom to help others in any way that is beneficial. Most of the Big Box gyms only want your $. To upsell you on their supplements, and get you to sign up for more training seasions. Not me. I truly want to help people by doing whatever that takes. If we start training and I realize we are not a good fit, Ill send you to another trainer that you would fit with. By being an Independent Contractor, I make the rules that are based off the clients needs, not off of sales.
People should choose me because I have done it. I have walked down the road of obesity. I have tried the newest and coolest Fad Diet of the month, and never had lasting results. I have gone from being overweight, to sickly looking with no muscle mass, back to being overweight again. I've done all of the unhealthy YoYo dieting, and have come back from them. I have educated myself on how to help people achieve their goals. Whatever those maybe. Weight loss, Bodybuilding, firming up, gaining strength, rehabilitation from an injury, mobility, healthy meal choices, or just wanting to get up and moving around. A body in motion stays in motion.
