Seaquyoiah is a gym-master and passionate about getting me fit :o  For me she represents the hard-to-find right balance of qualities for a personal coach: a little ruthless, a lot supportive, laid back and yet very focused and goal-oriented. I feel like she has a vision that is more ambitious than my own, which is kind of cool because I've gotten SO out of shape that my expectations are a lot lower than they were ten and twenty years ago. But Mz. S has my back and wants me to look slim, sleek and strong. Who am I to argue?It has to be said too that this is personal training that is very affordable, relative to others of her caliber and her rates make it possible for me to go to her regularly. I am beginning to see results, which is remarkable given my off and on, half-assed commitment--but as I said, Seaquyoiah means business. While there is no need to be in the least bit intimidated, she does expect you to work out to your outer limit.  I hear her classes are amazing too (how I first learned about her) but I am just doing the one-on-one training for the time being.  Oh yes, and Burpie, her female (that's right) tiny dog is adorable.

looked for years for a water exercise class that was challenging, affordable, lots of variety of activity for a full body workout, fit my schedule and taught by someone conscientious of form, not speed of reps to prevent injury. Roxanne is mindful of all, gives good form feedback and fits the bill on all counts. The pool group is lovely friendly helpful gals who welcome and help newbies. 8-9pm tue/thu federal way comm ctr. Give it a try, you will feel forgotten muscles in a good way.

Great little gym! I went here for almost 3 and a half years, and even when my company moved locations 3 miles further away I kept coming back. I liked that it was small and friendly. Almost every time I went there, there was someone to say hi to, or say hi back to me. It was usually Rachel herself saying the hello, along another friendly gym regular or two. The gym seemed to attract everyday kinda folk, which I liked. Also, A huge perk to being a female there is I quite often found that I got the bathroom/locker room to myself. That was definitely pretty cool. Also, even though the gym is small, it has big windows, which makes it feel more airy and open then some other small gyms. Keep up the good work Rachel!

This is an excellent school for my son. The instructor teaches them respect and self discipline. He may have moved from other locations, but not for the reasons listed in other review.My son went from not knowing nothing about martial arts to being able to defend himself. In 2006 I was an athlete at the University of Hawaii.
I was always "the big guy" and athletic but at 6 feet tall and 255lbs I was more than big...I was overweight.
After a severe injury caused me to sit out for most of the season I knew that my best chance at recovery would be to maximize my health and fitness.
Through proper diet and exercise I lost 50lbs and became the fittest, healthiest version of myself possible.
The transformation changed my life and was so impactful that I have now dedicated my life to helping people become the fittest, healthiest versions of themselves as well.
I spent many years working for big box gyms. I worked from a personal trainer all the way up to running one of the biggest, most profitable clubs in the company.
The problem was that the company wasn't in the business of truly helping people.
Day in and day out I would see people who needed help but also couldn't afford to pay thousands of dollars per month to get the help they truly needed.
I decided it was time for me to leave the company so that I could start a business that's sole purpose was to deliver people the fitness results that they wanted and needed.
